Be it titled Destiny: Shattered Suns, Beyond Destiny, or just Destiny 2, we don't know anything, and I understand that Bungie, and Activision are likely holding off for a few reasons: To make sure The main game stays as relevant as possible, To make sure hype hits a peak just as the game goes on sale, And to avoid the appearance of anything misleading, such as withheld content seen in a trailer. Personally, I'm not so sure. I feel like If the full sequel is less than a year away, we might be overdue, or we might be fine. The Taken King was revealed pretty late, being revealed at the E3 just prior, and Rise of Iron was revealed at a similar time, both in early June. However it might be different considering how this is no expansion. If the sequel is a full fledged game, it should probably get a bit more exposure than an expansion, considering how Activision is, and how big this release is going to be. Should we expect a reveal at the end of The Dawning event? March? E3? I think it would be unwise to release it as late as June, but personally I think we've passed the threshold of "too early," so I feel we could expect it in the coming months?
