Is WoTM necessary?
Hey guardians! As my title suggests i find the wotm a bit time consuming to be running it almost everyday to level up and ends in frustration. Due to my busy schedule at work is it necessary to beat the raid or can i level up efficiently by running other game modes? Any helpful answers will be greatly appreciated thank you.

Definitely not necessary, find a group to run it casual if u can't to and enjoy it, trials, iron banner, crucible end game rewards all drop 400 gear, archons forge drops 400 ghost and artifacts, reputation packages can all get u up to 390, strike chests and exotics all go up to 400 so just run whatever suits you

Necessary? No Worth? Yes I started my first HM 391 and finished 394. You can do strikes to get 385. Then faction packages to 390. Next week is iron banner. Play for the post-game loot. Don't cash the bounties till the last day (this rewards can be everything not only what Efrideet sells) this way if your light is a little higher the rewards can be too. The following week we will have srl, still nothing confirmed but it will give you a chance tolevel up for sure

1 ReplyNot at all. Will take a bit longer but the raid is mostly a waste of time unless you have your own group. People on lfg are trash. Can take you 6 hours to get past one boss on hm nowadays.

You can only run the raid 3 times a week (technically 6 but running 3 normal then 3 hard is just silly). Given how rewarding the raid is, it would probably take MORE time to level up outside the raid, given the same amount of time
