I own so many games, and through them I see the actions of so many different game development studios and companies, and I have never seen a company struggle so much to do something so simple as to apply a simple coding patch. Clearly the problem with Student of History is a matter of coding, Could be something so simple as If ;{8 artifacts atuned}, then {award achievement}{unlock emblem} There is quite, quite obviously something in the code between the {award achievement} and {unlock emblem} that makes it that the code doesn't go through all the way and only unlocks one of these two possibilities, when it should unlock both. So, many, amateur programmer could've fixed it already. Most game devs I can think of would've alrady adressed this issue, as most game devs recognise the importance trophies have to a portion of their playerbase. Which leads me to wonder, are Bungie that confident in the install base of their brand and the fidelity of their playerbase? As I recall, as of Q3 Activision has very high standards or return profits on the brands it publishes, especially considering CoD failed to meet sales expectations. How much will Bungie mistreat and ignore their playerbase before they feel it might affect the sales of future products? Considering Bungie has a reputation of a One Trick Pony already and doesn't really push for diversity in it's IPs, if Bungie 2 fails to meet sales expectations, how many of people in the studio might lose their job if Activision decides to shut them off? I'm very concerned Bungie is failed to address their customers in a way that'll ensure brand fidelity and adequate sales for their next instalment of Destiny.
