I don't get why people have such an issue countering jugg and other shit like clever dragon.
I don't use either, hell I'm pretty much never on my titan anymore.
I main a Sunsinger which is easily the worst subclass in Destiny right now. Mida is also typically my go to primary aside from high impact scouts and some occasional TLW.
With that being said, I have little to no issue countering these things. When I see a Titan with jugg proc'd, I back peddle until I'm in a better position to engage the person.
I'll be sure to watch the video once I get the chance to see if your one of those people who stand in one spot while a jugg titan is coming.
I do think that things like gg should be able to burst it with one shot and a high sniper should be able to burst it as well.

I'll save you some time if you don't wanna watch the video: He popped the bubble with one sniper shot, then shot down the titan with his primary while the titan's teammate killed him. He stayed in one spot during the fight.

Thanks for taking everything out of context. If juggernaut was never buffed (it was already OP, it never needed a buff) then I would've easily killed him. There was no way to kill the Titan and stay alive at the same time. Unless I ran away the instant I got my snipe off, I would've died even if I went behind the truck. Fact of the matter is, I got cheated and I should've gotten that snipe. Had I sniped him, I would've had ample time to skate towards cover and reengage the last guy. At the very least, I would've won the round had it not been for juggernaut being buffed.
-
Uploading a video of you killing a juggernaut titan doesn't make a strong case for juggernaut being overpowered.

Edited by Ness: 11/30/2016 2:59:20 AMBut me losing a round because of Juggernaut seems like a pretty good reason to me. Like I've said to countless people already, if juggernaut was never buffed, that would have been a very easy round to win. I think it's funny how when a guy with a 2kd basically posts the same thing I do, he gets all positive feedback. But because my stats aren't great, people think I'm bad and act like it's such an impossible thing for me to get out of a situation like this the way I planned.
-
I never looked at your stats, nor do I care what they are. If juggernaut was never buffed, that titan wouldn't have skated directly towards you in the 1st place, so that's a moot point.
-
If jug shield was never buffed, he would have died. I would have won the round without a doubt. I don't see why nobody seems to understand that.

Edited by Jvp WReNCh: 11/30/2016 4:20:07 AMHe only ran directly at you because he knows how juggernaut works. If it wasn't buffed to proc in midair, he would've gone to the bottom with his teammate, or used twilight garrison to charge instead of skating in a straight line.
-
My only issue is the fact that it activates after 1 second, I was referring to the recent buff it received. It never needed a buff like that.
-
Juggernaut has always proced that quickly. The only changes it ever received were activating in midair & how much damage it can take. You can read through these patch notes if you don't believe me. https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/45172/7_Destiny-Update-090816 https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/14083/7_Destiny-Class-Tuning---December-Update

It was never mentioned in any patch notes, but I know it was buffed. Here's a video that shows a lot of different things abut jug shield. Note that it does in fact activate after 1 second, it was never able to do that before. https://youtu.be/9fsOeXKYemM

I feel like you're confusing juggernaut's activation timer with shoulder charge's. I've had a titan for 2 years, & I can guarantee you that juggernaut has always activated that quickly. It wasn't "stealth buffed" lol
-
Numerous people in the community know for a fact that it was buffed. Here's one that I know of. Go ahead and read the first one, then read the second. I'll try and find videos of jug shield pre buff. http://m.imgur.com/DAA2Fqi http://m.imgur.com/T7MLAVr

This video is from August 2015, long before any changes were made to strikers. Notice how the shield procs just as fast, but not in midair.
-
Well then, I stand corrected. I still strongly believe that it activates too quickly. I don't think it would destroy the class if the activation took 1 second longer. Blink, shadestep, Twilight Garrison, and shoulder charge (as far as I know) all have some sort of cool down or mechanic that prevents you from spamming them. Juggernaut doesn't have this, and I think it's about time they adjust it. Believe me, I know there are plenty of issues with other subclasses. For instance, I think it's stupid that shadestep manipulates hit registration with a number of things. I just think this is a particularly prominent issue given how shotguns are so dominant in this meta. Not to mention how the shield can stop just about anything, that needs to be looked at as well.
-
I honestly think it's fine as it is, mostly because I can't think of any change that wouldn't ruin it. Maybe a longer activation time, but people would just run into a wall to get it to proc before charging, so it wouldn't really change anything.
-
I would be fine if they had to run into a wall. Right now, you can potentially start running in the middle of a gun fight and still have enough time to activate your shield so that you can close the gap with a shotgun. I don't think that would break the perk, it would just prevent others from using it in a panic situation to get shotgun kills even when they were down in a firefight.

Yeah, I watched it. I don't know why he's using this video as evidence that jugg is over powered when he beat the person using jugg. I told him that standing in one spot is what ended up getting him flanked. All he had to do was go back and to the left behind the truck and the Titans teammate more than likely would've failed at flanking him.

Yep. Everyone is the hero of their life story, so it's natural for them to blame their shortcomings on everyone else.
