Crucible ban

Dear Bungie, After a long time playing destiny, i have the proof that your ability to stand on the online gaming is unvaluable. I played a long time since february of this year and when i logged in Today i was banned from crucible and trials of osiris. Since when i started playing, i had never found an online playing as orrible as yours, because from the first day of playing destiny i found much more bad connections than mine. i know that my Country has the worst connection in the world, but this isn't an excuse to make me out of crucible because of it. I want to add that the last time i played osiris's trials, i found people that were worst than me at connection, I Have been DDOS, foud cheaters that didn't die and even lag switchers that the only way to become legends of destiny was cheating. This mail is a complaint of how bad is your server is at this moment, starting with the problem of entering RISE OF IRON, and ending with crucible laggers. If you banned me, then what will you do with the people that are WORST than me. I will wait for a direct response of yours. Sincerly Leons1590

  • In Destiny there are Account Restrictions, Bans and console bans. These are all separate entities. Account Restrictions are temporary, while Bans are permanent. Bungie does not dispute or overturn either of them. Please refer to Bungie's DESTINY ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS AND BANNING POLICIES for all information regarding restrictions, bans and console bans. Please note that action will not be taken against an account based off reports alone. • Don't download a different game/app and play Destiny PvP at the same time on a slow internet connection, as doing so may cause your connection to appear slow and laggy. You should pause your downloads, and after done playing then you can let downloads continue. While this wasn't covered in network troubleshooting, most other possible problem is shown here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot?oid=12915 Be sure your internet speed have 2 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload, or more. If downloading something while playing online, then Download requirements jumps up to 100 Mbps or more, to greatly reduce it from lagging too much. Destiny use Point-to-Point (p2p) connection so it will always appear that your controlling player never lag and everyone else might appear laggy, when in reality, everyone else may see only you lagging and not other players.

I will only speak on your "connection" statement.
i know that my Country has the worst connection in the world, but this isn't an excuse to make me out of crucible because of it.
Well, if you know your connection is that bad and you admitted you did, then you should not be playing Crucible, Trials, Iron Banner, or any other player-vs-player events and should stick to strikes, raids, etc. With connection issues, it makes you glitch all over the screen and seemingly not be affected by shots because where you appear to other players is not really where you are. Knowing you had a bad connection, but played in PvP anyway can be interpreted as cheating because you gain an unfair advantage, so yes, it IS an excuse for Bungie to restrict you from Crucible.
This mail is a complaint of how bad is your server is at this moment
There are NO dedicated PvP servers from Bungie. You connect via peer-to-peer and if you have poor connect, it causes issues for everyone. Your connection, whether via ISP or router settings, is the issue, not Bungie. Look into how you are connected (wifi or wired) and your router settings and if you are wired and you have the configuration Bungie says to use on your router, then your next step is contact your provider. Complaining here to Bungie for servers they do not have is fruitless because they are not the issue in your case. Once your restriction is lifted, I suggest staying away from player vs player (Crucible, Trials, Iron Banner, etc.) activities until you get your connection issues resolved. Speed isn't everything. Latency and packet loss is what mostly matters. If you do choose to go back into PvP activities with a bad connection, you risk more restrictions or even a ban because you knowingly have an unfair advantage.
If you internet connection is shit, then you are ruining the game for the other 5-11 players in your lobby. That is absolutely a reason to ban from crucible.

        • Sorry but your gaming history (especially your Hunter) shows someone was kicking players from the other team. Doesn't happen that consistently unless someone is making it happen that consistently. Honestly no one will feel bad for you on here, especially with obvious signs of network manipulation.

In Trials of Osiris, for seven out of nine consecutive games on your hunter on November 26th your opponents "lost connection". That points to something far worse than a poor connection. That's the type of match history that you would expect to see if someone on your fire team was using a DOS attack to boot your opponents. If that is in fact what happened, you should receive a permanent ban from Destiny.

          • I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I have seen too many cheaters who play dumb on this thread and try to weasel their way out of a ban.

          • Sadly typical how cheaters have the nerve to complain once caught. This guy is the cancer of Destiny folks.

          • After looking through your match history ... yeah drop the innocence act. You KNOW why you were restricted and after looking at how blatant your history is... I can only hope this will be permanent. I repeat my usual statement in this case... in the immortal word of all of us that play PVP legitimately ... GET BENT

          • You have a temporary restriction because Bungie has determined that you are a "cheat" or have "bad connection. The only question is why a temporary restriction rather than a permanent ban???

          • If you know your connection isn't the greatest (for whatever reason), then online gaming shouldn't be played by you (or anyone with sub-par internet) as that negatively impacts all other players in that same lobby. Thus, in destiny, a crappy connection can be a negative experience for up to 11 other players per game played.
