I see the benefits of SweatBased MM. But my belief, is that Destiny was built on a system a bit more dedicated to PVE way before the Bungie ViDoc with "see that mountain" and all that nostalgic stuff. But once the game had been rewritten and PVP became necessary, the old system wasn't quite built to handle fast paced 6v6 game play. I wouldn't know Tick Rate if it slapped me in the balls, but judging by other games, Destiny tick rate seems more appropriate for PVE Peer 2 Peer connections. That's my thinking. PVP was shoved in during rewrite and this is what we have:
