Your monthly reminder on how to play control

It seems every iron banner I have to make this thread because despite this game mode existing in first person shooters for as long as I can remember as well as two years in destiny it still seems like the average player has no clue what they're doing in iron banner control: 1. See those letters? Those are zones. Stand in them for a bit. They give you points per kill based on how many you own. Having a zone gives you more points than if you had no zones. Two zones gives you more points than if you have one zone. More points means you win the game. Points are good. Zones give you points. Capture the zones. 2. Don't capture all three zones. I know you just found out that holding zones means you win the game but don't get too greedy! If you take all three then all the enemies will start spawning all around you and you screw everything up. Screwing everything up for your team is bad. It makes you have less points. Less points means you lose the game. Losing the game is bad. And there you go. Points are good. Zones give you points. Capture the zones. Ask yourself if you've captured a zone recently. Tell your friends about zones. This has been your friendly reminder on how to play control.
