You're such a tool. As if you being a top 20 player makes your opinion more valid than everyone else's.

If you wanted to get better at football, and a rookie football player, and a pro football player were both willing to help you or give you some tips, who would you listen to?
I'm not saying I'm a pro. I'm just giving an examaple.
This isn't about wanting to get better. This is the OP using his status to devalue the opinions of those who might disagree with him, whether it was on purpose or not. If a top player told you Bungie should continue nerfing weapons as a way to balance the game, that doesn't mean his opinion is anymore right than an average player who thinks they should buff weapons. Sc slayerage has always thought revive shouldn't be in the game, but just because he's arguably the best PvE player doesn't mean his opinion should carry more weight than someone who thinks that revive has its place. And he never uses his status as a tool in his arguments. He makes his point and leaves it at that. If you need your status to drive a point home, you probably didn't have a strong point to begin with. And I would take advice from both football players. There isn't a single way to get better at anything unless that single way is to practice.

Edited by LiamCDM: 11/19/2016 1:12:14 AMI do have a strong argument, and my status further validates it. The kind of argument you make, is one that is most commonly shared among those with average to below average skill. Those that excell excell at something, that cotribute hours of their lives to something, and are among the most talented and most experienced in their field, whatever it may be, are going to have a more valid opinion on something, because they are simply better than the majority, and therefore, will be more educated on the matter. An NFL football player, will have a far more valid opinion on how to win, or what should change on the game, because they are better than virtually every other player outside their league and of course will know a lot more about the sport. This isn't about me exploiting my standing to single-handedly refute any contradicting argument, it's about logic. It's about the fact that someone like me, is going to have a stronger and more educated view on something Destiny related, because of reasons I've repeated several times. If that isn't clear, then the problem is with you and your indoctrination into the idea, that is virtual communism, where gaming is overly-simplified, everyone is equal regardless of ability or standing, and any sort of "elitism," is shunned, even though, every functioning community will have the elite, the middle class and the lower class. Elitism isn't a terrible concept. It only becomes a terrible concept when the lower-classes are oppressed by the elite, through censorship, relinquishing of rights and so on. Not all, so called elitists are like this. In fact, everyone is an elitist in sone sense, excluding the virtual communist movement, because anyone who believes in some form of light, moderate or heavy social or heiarchial inequality, is by definition, an elitist. It's like all other concepts. It has a positive and a negative side.

Oh shove it dude. I'm an above average player. Your football analogy doesn't work. Because this isn't about getting better. I only answered your question how I did because the question itself was irrelevant.
The kind of argument you make, is one that is most commonly shared among those with average to below average skill.
This one sentence just proved my point. Did you not just attempt to invalidate me by bringing up skill level? Textbook tool. And for the record, your point is valid and on this specific subject I pretty much agree with you. But you being a Top 20 rumble player has nothing to do with why I or any of the other players here agree with you. You could of left out your statistics and your point would have carried the same weight. When it comes to hand cannon bloom, nobody gives a -blam!- about stats, especially when you consider pretty much everyone here that is vocal on the forums is in agreement its bad. Next time just make your point. If people agree with you, they'll agree with you, if they don't, they don't.
This one sentence just proved my point. Did you not just attempt to invalidate me by bringing up skill level? Textbook tool.
I was bringing up something I've observed among those that are unskilled. I wasn't invalidating anything. I see you're a rarity when it comes to your skill level and your views on this.
And for the record, your point is valid and on this specific subject I pretty much agree with you. But you being a Top 20 rumble player has nothing to do with why I or any of the other players here agree with you. You could of left out your statistics and your point would have carried the same weight.
It wouldn't and shouldn't, because I'm not a well known member of the community like Slayerage (whom you mentioned last night), so I should be obligated to explain who I am to further validate my argument. I've argued this earlier. The skilled, will usually have a more influential or more educated view on something, than the unskilled. That's just logic.

Everything I said just went right over your head. You're a lost cause I guess.

No, you're just wrong. Lol
