SBMM should stay

So, I want to start a real poll about the topic. Is SBMM good for the game or not? Personally I say that it doesn't help the game at all. Why? - Bad people stay bad. They can enjoy the game more, yes. But the'ye not forced to get any better if all they´ll get are better opponents and a worse gaming experience. They can use whatever loadout they want, they don't have to sweat all the time, etc. Even if you're bad, a bad opponent won't make your game hard at all. You won't get better by playing bad players only. The mix is what makes you better. - It only caters to the bad players that don't even try to get better and most of the time don't even play PvP at all. - You cannot enjoy crucible with your friends. When I join buddies, I pubstomp most of the enemies with ease. That's NOT fun at all. My buddies will have a bad time because the enemies we're matched against are getting better than themselves. That's also NOT fun for them. It's not fun for anyone playing together most of the time. - The Win/Lose Ratio Preservation needs to go. It´s just unfair. If you perform good and your team is winning one match, in the next match the game puts you in a severe disadvantage and you WILL lose and getting destroyed, no matter what you´re doing. You can even tell which game it is because you cannot get kills that easily i.e. - No Dedicated Servers. We have no DS like any other ranked or in general decent PvP game has. SBMM only causes extreme lag because we're matched with players from the other side of the planet, their crap connections and the broken Netcode. 500-1000+ pings aren't that uncommon. That shouldn´t be possible in general. - It's a pain for anyone that actually tried and managed to be good in this game. I once was a thumbless noob. It was my first PvP console game ever and I struggled hard. Sometimes I managed to be above 1.0, but most of the time I was getting pubstomped. Then I actually tried to get better...and I did. I've earned my 100 Rumble wins without any help. I've earned my stats without SBMM padding my back. I´ve never asked for any form of security because I knew how PvP games work. CS, BF, CoD, UT...all of them don´t give Newbies any form of protection, that´s just how those games work. If i can do it, why can't you? And when you can't...why should you be the only group of players that have fun in a mode that isn't made for you at all? Is that really fair? I think normal Crucible should be 100% CBMM only. Sometimes you'll get good players on your team, sometimes against you. Sometimes you'll pubstomp the others, sometimes you'll get pubstomped. Fair and even ground for everyone and no one has to struggle just because he want's to play with his friends. Here´s an awesome video about this topic that perfectly describes my point of view (Credits to Youtube User "Story Machine" and user "shaney_m" for this): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aMk5fpsYms&app=desktop What's your opinion? Please, try to stay clean and make legit agruments for or against it.

  • - Bad players CAN get better by playing bad players . It's get depends on the mind serif the bad player, if he's determined he can improve with the top teir if he's not then he can not improve against top tier players. So SBMM should stay so that both players can improve and rehabs fun. Also if the determined player wants a challenge he could go in to trials that's the best practice IMO -Keeping it short, As a member of the "1%" (in-game) SBMM should stay most connections can handle Games like destiny but a laptop and a phone connected at the same time causes noticeable drop in connection quality. I personally never come in to contact with a "red bar warrior" and match quality is usually amazing ( XB1 East Coast) -Sad Doctor
