I dont think they believe in the "kell of kells" prophecy, but rather use other houses as they see fit. Until i saw Myelins video on siva, i suspected that the kings actually used the remaining devils as test subjects. Imagine if they learnt above siva with all their digging, and sent a baron (Aksis) and coordinate the devils, gain access to siva and see if it is a viable tool. I dont have any evidence besides the line at the start of the second mission, stating somebody must have got them organised. That and instinct, the devils were a shattered house, skolas showed no respect for, and they showed very little signs of a inquisitive nature. No all of sudden they are try to break into rasputin (Fallen sabre) and have tinkered with siva. To me all these events in a timeline have the signature of the kings puppetry.

Along the lines of what I said, yes. The Kings rule Devils, so maybe it was the Kings who put S.A.B.E.R together. There are also Saber-shanks in the Raid, which I found interesting.[/quote]

  • I think if you look at it in a timeline it seems as if the kings takeover could be placed between house of wolves and taken king, as you said both the sabre and wrath of the machine have the giant shanks, plus the fallen sabre strike seems like a huge change of character for the devils. One grimoire card kinda disproves this, early on it mentions that the devils are digging for something. However you could say that early on (before vanilla) the kings fed them some information, saw the house in dissarry (post wolves) and decided to send a "manager" to get their shit together.
