Trials & raid ornaments have been out for less than a month. How is that too little too late?

Idk man. I'm just bummed with Destiny right now. Trials and pvp is a headache and there's no reason to do the raid other than to get the ornaments. I used to think cosmetic shit was enough to keep me grinding. But why....
