2 RepliesDoesn't seem worth it, plus I don't have a 4k TV. Maybe in the 2020's I'll get the PS4 Pro 2.0
-
5 RepliesNo. Reports are saying games are actually playing worse on the Pro than normal PS4, like Skyrim for example.

Waste of money the way i see it

No, I don't have a 4k or HDR tv so there's no reason. Plus with Scorpio coming out next year Sony is going to have to launch the ps5 or a much more powerful version of the ps4 in 2018, I'll wait for that. But mostly no 4k tv.
-
No. Scorpio awaits.
-
Nope...dont like ps controllers and no exclusives jump out at me...enjoy it tho if you get one...

Picked it up yesterday, huge difference with BF1. :)

I'm just waiting for the Scorpio honestly. My xbox one s right now upscales everything to 4k and can play actual 4k discs. The ps4 does just fine itself anyway. Sure if I had a bunch of extra money i definitely would, but not too worth it for me

I got one yesterday. Along with skyrim. You can really feel those god rays. Got a nice tan going. Joking aside, i do see a difference in performance for non 4k games, and games that support it do look visually better and play better. Videos on the internet don't do those kind of comparisons justice. Seeing it yourself does make a difference. I also had a 4k tv prior, so for me getting this was no hassle since id be getting more out of it than someone with out it. Although even without a 4k tv, you'd still be benefitting performance wise, but wouldn't be experiencing it to the fullest. So keep that in mind when considering buying one. On the bright side, i have been seeing some admittedly good deals on 4k tvs. Saw some samsungs 45inch smart 4k tvs for 250-300$. So those of you saying you're not getting it due to not having the 4k display to go along with it might be in for some good deals soon enough.
