I think there's a pretty fundamental difference between the anger and hate projected by the Republican party, which is directed at other people, and the anger and hate that is going on in the streets right now, which is directed at the process. The people feel like the system failed them.

Let's not pretend all cities are burning down.
And crying like a 5 year old cause there candidate didn't win Defreinding long time friends cause they voted against there candidate or supported trump or some one else It's ridiculous how people are acting
This happens every election cycle.

But just forget the hate towards Trump, people who voted for him, and all white people, right?
-
Spoken like a cuck

I disagree. I've heard many accusations from protesters saying the only reason someone could possibly vote for Trump to be because they are racist, bigoted, misogynist, or sexist and a hateful person. And to say that Republican people support a, "system" is a bit backward given that one of the tenants of the Republican party is a smaller federal govt (aka weaker system).

Yep, definitely pointing the hate at the system.

The Republican Party hates enemies of the US. That is all. And tell that to the people that have called me racist and cussed me out in the last 3 days because I voted for trump. That's pretty hateful if you ask me especially when I didn't even say anything to them other than answering the question "who did you vote for" I definitely haven't done that to anybody that voted for Hillary.
-
But it didn't or at least the electoral college didn't
-
the anger and hate that is going on in the streets right now, which is directed at the process.
Oh really? Is that why some who voted for Trump are getting violently beaten by Clinton supporters?
-
Wasn't there a militia in Georgia ready to March on DC with WEAPONS if Hillary won?
-
And texas

I mean the process let us all down when they just gave as many people as they could citizenship before the election without doing decent checks. Don't see me rioting the streets. I act like am adult and try to get people behind me to fix it the right way. People need to learn to take the L and get over and try to get the W the right way. Burning flags and acting like the world is over because someone they disagree with became president is childish.

No. The system (or at least the electoral college) worked the way it was supposed to
-
The system is literally a failure and always has been. Maybe this time after trump, and republicans completely -blam!- everything up, we'll as a nation make the real reforms to the system that need to be made. Fix the broken system. Why was the electoral college not done away with after 2000? Why why why? Either trump does all the reforms he claims, or he loses big in 4 years and serious systematic reforms are made. Regardless this is the best possible outcome. Without trump winning, and without him in office with an uncontested federal government the status quo would go on unchanged, ignoring the growing progressive movement in the Democratic Party, and ignoring the horrible systematic failures we face. You have to get people angry, and aware of the problem before the problem will be solved.

I actually understand the electoral college a lot more after doing my research I used to say that to but then we have another issue. On our hands Than when election time only a few select city's will determine the out come and every one else in the other states won't matter. What so ever It gives them a vote Look electoral college works like this. Each state has different points for each elector Now how does the electoral college choose who won Well if majority of the state voted for Hillery then hillary wins the state and the points. And same goes for Trump or any one else being voted for Now as you can see most states voted for Trump but still the states with the few selected city's with out the electoral college get the most points cause they have the most population Higher the population growth more electors are given. So oooo Trump win my overly majority of the state's points and electors and not all of the big population states voted hillary causeing hillary to lose.
-
Electoral college isn't going anywhere it's literally how our government was designed and good thing too. The point of it is so highly populated states don't have power over less populated state
-
Always a failure... Yep. Fun fact. Abe Lincoln didn't achieve popular vote. He won through the electoral votes. But eh, all he did was end the civil war and slavery. Definitely not working as intended.
-
This is why the electoral college is the way it is and it shouldn't be changed
-
Too late, Obama already -blam!-ed everything up, if it gets worse, it gets worse. But that's going to take a lot to make it worse.
-
I think you need to turn off the news and actually see some facts...
-
Lol turning on the news isn't gonna get you any facts cause at this point it's so liberally biased it's scary
