Dude the god squad are in total control of tge house & senate, you have a president that says climate change is a chinese conspiricy & VP that says evolution is a lie made up by the mainstream scientists & shouldnt be taught in schools.
He supports forced birth & conversion therapy for homosexuals.
So I think the non god fearing zelots have plenty to be worried about but not from that -blam!-ing buffoon

Basically = shitty theocracy here we come.

To be honest i think trumper will suprise us because he die hard democrat till 2008 & played golf with bill clinton so I think he might just suprise us,he already said he will keep parts of obama care to make sure nobody is going to lose cover due to the private bullshit of not covering people with pre existing conditions because when you sell medical insurance you dont want to sell it to sick people because they might actually need it,no donny isnt the problem infact I think his own party are going to end up blocking most of his proposals to do with social reform because they wont be draconian enough for the die hard religious zelots of the republican party that claim to be christians but never want to help anybody but themselves. American cristianity & radical islam are why I think religion should be outlawed completly.

climate change is real, but not caused by humans as much as we fear. pollution is real, look at smog. pollution should be the real concern for the country, not climate change
-
We accelerate the effects of climate change. Not cause it.
-
technicalities. in any case, we cant change climate as drastically as liberals fear. that doesnt mean i dont support clean energy or minimizing waste, but its not gonna kill everyone or cause an apocalypse
-
It can certainly cause more problems than you're suggesting.
-
it wont kill us or cause an apocalypse. it can damage ecosystems, sure. extreme pollution for extended durations (1000+ years can make an impact, not 100 or even 4-8 like people fear) can cause atmospheric damage and our ozone could be at risk, but this is all so far out that all the fear people have is misplaced. youll be long dead before anything actually happens. what we can do is develop the technology for clean energy and alternative sourcing methods like extra-terrestrial mining, but they dont need to be implemented right this very second back to swift's comment though, it doesn matter what the president thinks about climate change he has no power over it one way or the other. congress essentially controls national financing, not the president

That there is such a thing as geopolitical issues. For example in the south China Sea. As fishing boats need to go farther and farther the more likely you're going to have a territory dispute, which can lead to conflicts. This doesn't take 1000s of years. We can see these affects now. Climate can make make areas that were once livable unlivable, causing food shortages, migrations of people into more and more densely populated areas, which comes with its own entire set of problems. Climate change can cause major crisis' and its already starting to happen. Not 1000 years from now.
-
i didnt say its starting now, but the things we do start now wont take effect for quite a while. fishing has been around for so damn long and population has created a demand that exponentially rises and thats how theyve got a problem. the fix there is to develop a sustainable farming technique and limit population. ultimately, limiting population will fix our problems far simpler than controlling the waste of an exponentially rising number of people
-
It is starting now. It started years ago. We are feeling the affects already. But I agree with everything else you said.

alright cool
