Your legend: part 2

Previous part: The vanguard picked up a cabal distress signal, an odd one. The vanguard hand picked you, guardian, to investigate. You arrived to find cabal in a mass evacuation. You pushed further in and made first contact with the taken. The Taken king had arrived in our system. You went with Cayde-6’s plan to get on the dreadnought and succeeded, narrowly. With a beachhead established, you tried to find the king but were halted due to not being ascendant. In order to effectively deal with the new threat, the vanguard figure you should learn a new trick or two so they showed you how to harness old powers. With your newfound power, you scooped up a few stealth codes from Rasputin and traversed the Hellmouth’s abyss to return to Crota’s realm. You stole his soul and became ascendant. You passed through the rupture and killed Oryx, the taken king, or so you thought. In the time before the king’s fall, you lead a strike (or rather a counter-strike) on the bond brothers who planned to blow up the dreadnought’s core. Valus Tlu’urn and Valus mau'ual tried their best to stop you, but did not succeed. With that that taken care of Eris pointed you to Oryx’s prisons to take out a prisoner that could try to claim Oryx’s throne. In the darkness of the sunless cell, you were able to strike down Alak-Hul, the darkblade. You also lead strike into Rasputin's bunker to save him from S.A.B.E.R.-2 With all the major threats taken care of, you went after the king, in his own world. You challenged the warpriest for the chance to kill the king and slew him. You found your way into the king’s cellar and killed the beast, Golgoroth. You killed Oryx’s daughters, and he came for you. After a few cycles of turning his food-light against him, you successfully killed The Taken King. But before you took a rest, you also killed Malok, son of Savathûn when he tried to claimed Oryx's throne. It almost seemed like the city was no longer at risk. In this pause of your legend, it seemed like this was a fitting ending. But the bones of ancient heroes stirred. Out of the blue, a strange nanite collection took over the guardians, and it didn’t seem all that bad, were it not for the fact that it was deadly to non-guardians. Though it was cured, (much to the guardians’ disappointment) it made Iron lord Saladin forge very concerned. He picked up Fallen around the old iron temple and hand picked you to stop them. He heard of your victories in against the black garden, Atheon, Crota, Skolas, and even the mighty Oryx and figured you were the only one to take up such a task. You secured the temple and discovered that the fallen had discovered something Saladin believed was buried for good, SIVA. You returned to the cosmodrome to find that the Splicers and SIVA were already working to corrupt the place. You pushed into the plaguelands and took out the splicer’s defences to allow other guardians to follow. With the plaguelands opened up, you were sent to the iron tomb. You discovered something horrific, the remnants of the Iron Lords. You laid their bones back to rest and destroyed the replication chamber, effectively shutting down the threat of SIVA. You went on to lead three strikes on SIVA forces, one on their Splicer priest, Kovik who was trying to experiment with the hive. You then stopped the splicers from obtaining another subject from summoning pits to further Kovik’s research. You lead the last strike to destroy the revived servitor Sepiks perfected. Having dealt with the major threats, you gathered yet another raid team to strike at the very heart of the splicers. You killed Vosik, the Archpriest and pushed forward. You rode the siege engine further into the splicers’ operations and eventually found yourself face to face with Aksis, archon prime. Aksis and the splicers tried their best, but ultimatley couldn’t stop you. You came out victorious. Now, the dust has settled. Again, we have a time of peace and for now, your story pauses. You’ve found some nifty weapons and armor along you way, killed a few gods and monsters, and had some good and bad times in between. I cannot recount every detail to your story, but you’ve certainly made one hell of an impression anyway. We have you, guardian, to thank for all we have now. I hope you enjoyed this little run through of your past, or rather, your legend.
Like what you read? • There is proof Aksis is the revived Devil Kell. A grimiore card reads: Now, after it had been defeated, The Devil Kell lay in the roots of the Cosmodrome. Dead. Waiting. Then a ancient evil stirs and infects it. This was a story card from TTK, near the ending of it.
