Rng on eververse purchases is gambling. This is impossible to deny.

Gambling means that you have a chance to win material items. Nothing in this game is material.

if you think these mechanics that Destiny or CoD or other games use with the random loot boxes for real money dont trigger the exact same reward centers of the brain and arent addictive in the same ways as actual gambling youre a naive fool. theres a reason they dont just sell the items outright, and that reason is greed, and the desire to build systems that addict the player to keep coming back thats also why they made the opening of the packages a spinning pattern that completes itself over time and ends with a sound thats pleasing. all that shit is there to cause pleasure, fcuk with the reward centers of your brain and suck money out of your pocket.

I agree with you but it still technically not gambling because you still recieve something. This has existed for years, Baseball/bubblegum cards, Panini and Merlin stickers, hell even the toys in cereal. Kids have been conditioned into this for far longer than I've been alive. Its unscrupulous but the law allows it. The RNG applied to Eververse means you may get something you don't want or already have, to us thats as good as nothing but in the eyes of the law you still recieved something, the risk was yours to take. It sucks I know but welcome to the world!

Not gambling at all

It's not really gambling when it's a certainty you are getting a reward. It's the same principle as kinder surprises or those toys in balls that you put coins in to get sweetie
