The Bible says god forgives all right? Now tell me why this great all knowing Deity allows shit like the Holocaust and people -blam!- kids to fly. How could you even look at someone knowing they -blam!- a kid? and even worse, know it's going to happen, and do nothing about it?

Because everyone atones for their sins after they die, when they stand before God he judges their life and what they did right and wrong. I can't imagine a worse fate than spending an eternity in fiery torment being tortured but never being able to die or never being able for it to end. See? What goes around comes around
-
If we're his children, why let it happen at all? A parent shouldn't want their children to do wrong, and he knows when it will happen, where it will happen, and why it will happen. So why not intervene? Unless of course, he wants to see his children tortured. At that point he's no better than the scum he sends to hell
-
Because he gave humanity a choice and we chose to disobey him, it's a punishment
-
And its clear his corrective measures aren't producing results, so why not eliminate the thought from your child's mind in the first place? Are you telling me he has been running this social experiment for thousands of years when he knows exactly who will and who won't sin, and does nothing to help them?

He lets us make our own choices but rewards us if we make the right ones, it's not unlike any other parent

Edited by SharkHorse: 11/7/2016 3:51:50 PMHe's not just any parent though, he is God. He has the means to stop the act from happening, but let's it happen anyway, knowing what will happen to us. A malevolent god cannot be a just god.

Okay well you can think that but I know what I know, so if you got a problem with it you can go make a thread about it
