I know some people hate it if someone say his own mind and think that his favourite weapon is to "OP" but I am also a main Shotgun Player in the Crucible and know what would be ok as a nerf and whats not.
So I present here you my Idea:
I don't think that the Shotguns should be nerfed but maybe the Shotgun Types should have limitations. So i think the follow:
High Impact Shotguns can stay at their extremely Range but the Disadvantage should be a (very) reduced mobility.
Low Impact Shotguns with their Weak Damage in Pvp should grant an passive lightweight perk (something other while the reduced mobility from High Impact Shotguns would be to unbalanced).
So you can see that in this Suggestion aren't "real" nerfs or buffs. The Anti-Shotgun Fanbase have to accept that Shotguns are strong in closed combat (because they are closed combat weapons) but with this "limitations" the Shotgun User base would be a Little bit smaller (and in regular slower).

Primaries need a buff, the increased flinch nerf to sniper is fine but shortgaze and snapshot needs to be unnerfed. Idk if u people realize that the fwc sidearm is extremely good. Sidearms counter shotguns pretty damn well. I dont like the new exotic sidearm because it wastes too much ammo. The vendor fwc sidearm is more consistent and reliable. So in short we dont need any more changes to shotguns we just need a buff on primary weapons.
