It won't matter if they're using fake aliases or other people's account.
This is why a wall of shame is useless. It doesn't show someone's true alias.

So because there's an off chance it's an alt account they shouldn't be punished at all? C'mon Nike your smarter than that.
-
Not having a wall of shame is NOT the same as not trying to punish anyone. The point was that publicly naming usernames isn't very useful, particularly against anyone using other people's accounts, which are actually advertised on other sites.

Good point!

Well said.

Agreed. Getting the cheater banned is good enough for me.

Edited by cynicalpsycho: 11/4/2016 10:00:42 PMBut it never happens... There's players with hundreds of reports and videos against them and they haven't been banned once. If bungo can't read into why the top trials players win by their opponents being disconnected it speaks to their staggering ineptitude to police cheating and work with their own report system.
-
Meanwhile there are thousands who have actually been banned. Bungie has even stated statistics in the past of how many they banned in one month alone. Just because you see a few exceptions on some youtube videos doesn't make them the rule.
-
Actually as they are the top players it does make it the rule... What about the stats of them having 90% victories through their opponents disconnecting? Not at one point in the last year and a bit have the people whose sole job is to police the report system have they even looked at these blatant cheaters? I am obviously open to other suggestions on how to bring these cheaters to bungies attention because what we have now is not enough.
also dedicated servers would be nice...
And they want to go into the PC world? They aren't ready for it and will be openly slammed by every major YouTuber and Twitch streamer out there. Just look at the Division (which I won't be playing period) and Massive were literally forced to get their shit together because of how many people they lost within 6months! And it only took 2 months to lose 75% of the game population. Pathetic.
-
Division lost people because they had a shit game and didn't move to correct glaring mechanics issues. Still haven't. They had a cool concept but poor execution. Had little to nothing to do with cheaters.

Truth.
