Reading these responses is depressing. It's appalling that people are blaming an 11 year old girl, who obviously doesn't have a full grasp on the consequences of suicide and its effects on her environment, over the people responsible for it.
You can say "sticks and stones," or whatever self-confirming outdated phrase you want, but if you've ever once been mildly upset by something you've heard or read, then you're a hypocrite. If this post annoys you enough to respond against me, then you're a hypocrite. If you feel any sort of emotion strong enough from a completely indirect written message, that you have to respond, then imagine how daily berating from your closest peers must feel.

I live it everyday. My only exit violence is so frowned upon today. It just gave bullies and verbal abusers more power. Burton.

Didn't have the full grasp but knew enough to go looking for a gun to her brain into a smoothe -_-
-
Knowing that guns are lethal, and knowing the scope of the psychologal trauma you will cause your family and community, are two very different things.
-
It's scary that people think that bullying is survival of the fittest or some bs like that.
-
Kinda true, but some people take it too far.

Yeah wish things went differently for her. May she rest in peace
who obviously doesn't have a full grasp on the consequences of suicide
This is where I think people get it wrong. I think she, and others, have a full grasp on the choice of suicide and its consequences. It's a purposeful act. People like her have been driven to a point where they believe that ending their own life is the only solution to their pain and troubles.

I'm sure of that. I just don't think kids that age think of things outside of the immediate consequences of dying, like the emotional trauma that is causes their parents, friends, etc.

Which is an enormous problem, as I'm sure any sane person would agree.

Thats the thing though she can be sane and still have those feelings. Some people can beat the life out of you.
Which is an enormous problem, as I'm sure any sane person would agree.
Most definitely.
