Any news on why I am not able to use rise of iron pre order gear? *Iron Gjallarhorn *Iron Gjallarwing *Gjallar Horn I was able to use it for two weeks from launch of rise of iron. I have: - contacted Sony PlayStation support. - Uninstalled and resinstalled destiny - Restored licenses on my PlayStation 4 - posted on @bungiehelp twitter page - posted on these forums Really need to get this fixed. I still have the sparrow horn equipped on my hunter but it says requires preorder. Iron Gjallarhorn says requires year 3 Gjallarhorn but I have done the quest and currently have both Iron and regular Gjallarhorn in my weapons inventory. Why could I use these for 2weeks then not anymore. Please fix

  • Did you restore the licenses for just Destiny or for ALL Destiny related content? The preorder bonuses have their own licenses, and those specific licenses need to be restored.

  • I honestly don't want to be rude but I'm pretty sure bungie has more power here than they let on. These are the exact steps I have tried on multiple occasions. From two different PS4 systems. I have also called and spoken to PlayStation support. They were very firm in saying I need to get in contact with bungie

  • Serious question. And don't take this the wrong way but... what gives you the authority to say this isn't a bungie issue. The least the developer can do is look into why I got the gear and all of a sudden can not use it. Sounds like the classic case of a bug that needs to be fixed to me.

  • Your licenses are attached to the account on your console and Bungie does not have access to that. Do you yourself own Rise of Iron and preordered it? Or are you game sharing? If there is a bug, it would be widespread.

  • I myself own rise of iron. Yes I preordered it. No just because it isn't widespread doesn't rule out a bug specific to me. Not how computers and systems work in my experience. With each character being unique and ,each system being unique as well with the various circumstances ,and load outs and, also the different software ,...It is possible that something happened that messed up my character or account in game. I have signed into another PS4 in my home as well which I bought a separate rise of iron for my wife. Also preordered. I have restored licenses on both to try and remedy this. PlayStation says I have the gear and wipes their hands clean. Again. The least bungie can do is have somebody on their end take a look. I don't believe it is unreasonable to expect that as well.

  • I had a similar problem but in my case it wasn't that I didn't have the rise of iron downloaded properly.. the problem was one of the older dlc wasn't working properly.. think it was the Crota map pack expansion 1 from way back.. so as that wasn't installed properly or corrupted, whichever I had to delete destiny and reinstalled all the older map packs again.. the roi won't work if u bought just bought the roi dlc (digital download add on) without all the other dlc in working order.. the only way it would work without older dlc being installed and working correctly is to have the roi full game not a dlc add on
