Auto Rifles that only have <30 per mag are worthless since Auto Rifles take forever and a few days to kill something. Let alone Pulse Rifles can get up to 33 per magazine. Since Auto Rifles have literally the most time to kill for anything, they deserve lovely size magazines and plentiful reserves.

The problem just is that certain archetypes of guns just are worthless without certain perks. Yeah sure, I could increase my mag size with that perk...or instead of just having more bullets to waste since I can't hit shit after a couple shots...I could go with perfect balance. Same goes with handcannons. Sure it's pretty sweet to have my HC be easier to handle due to reduced recoil but what's the point if I can't hit shit without dat rifled barrel anyways. That's why pulse rifles for pvp and scouts for pve are vastly superior, since they allow me to actually pick perks without completely -blam!-ing up my play in the process.

Yeah, I keep getting decent rolls on stuff with only 26 rounds and they just can't kill anything. Contrast that to the OG Shadow Price with only 25 rounds that still felt powerful. You can see how badly they've been gimped damage wise.

I have an answering chord with perfect balance, counter balance, and rifled barrel. Another one with rifled barrel, hight caliber rounds and focus fire and a shadow price with hidden hand and rifled barrel and they all do what all good high impact AR's do. They sit in my vault. I get them out from time to time but then put them right back in. The grasp has sooooo much more stability and soo much quicker time to kill. See there is a pulse rifle that is doing their job. Basically the same damage per round and so damn much faster to send rounds down range. The game makers here have no idea what they are doing. How can you look at the crucible and think their is weapon use choice. You either equip the medium impact hand cannons, or the fast fire rate pulse rifles, or forget it.

When did auto rifle ammo become a thing? I've seen a dozen posts just today. Equip an ammo perk chest and reload perk gauntlets. Shoot, kill, repeat.

Yup. Thank-you. Everyone always complains about damage on low RoF ARs, but the issue has never been damaged, it's the -blam!-ing absurdly small magazines. The point of an AR is sustained fire. Hard to sustain anything with 26 round magazines.

This thing feels like it should wreck, but it's just kinda "meh." Focus fire should have some sort of range increase modifier, as it feels a bit out of place with damage fall-off being so severe with autos. Having more rounds in the magazine would definitely be a plus.
