[Aerikx Edition] I’m filling in again for the resident & superior Armsday guru Dannycteris. I will be posting the rolls on the Armsday Packages I ordered (I tried to order them all but I too have orders I am waiting on.), as well as any recommendations. Please note, I am 95% PVE, I only PVP when forced too. So my recommendations are [b][u]NOT[/u][/b] for PVP. [b][u]Also all Recommendations are [u][b][i]MY OPINION[/i][/b][/u]. Pick whichever roll suits you/your playstyle.[/u][/b] If you have any Orders that I have not posted, then please share & I will update this post with them, giving you credit for the info. =] ________ Omolon “Omolon, advancing technology at [i]your[/i] risk.” [b][u]Omolon Thesan FR4[/u][/b] Roll 1: Element - Arc Candle IS2/Torch HS2 Hot Swap Quickdraw/Oiled Frame Rangefinder/Danger Close Roll 2: Element - Void Candle IS2/Torch HS2 Grenadier Lightweight/Injection Mold Life Support/Dangerclose Roll 3: Element - Solar Spark IS6/Torch HS2 Grenadier Enhanced Battery/Hand-Laid Stock Rangefinder/Danger Close Recommendation: Roll 3 Scope/Sight wise Torch is the very best Omolon scope/sight for a Fusion Rifle, additionally this roll has Enhanced Battery granting 1 extra shot but you are better off using Hand-Laid Stock to max your stability, yup…this FR will not move when fired. Lastly, Rangefinder boosts this FR’s range by 20% which also increases the speed of it’s shots. If you needed a good High Impact Solar FR this is close but not quite a God Roll. Grenadier sadly…takes the place of what could be a better perk. However it isn’t bad, it could be something useless like Last Resort. Roll 3 is the winner, but feel free to pass and wait for next week. [b][u]Omolon Uffern HC4[/u][/b] Roll 1: Fastdraw IS/Quickdraw IS/Truesight IS Zen Moment Extended Mag/Rifled Barrel Firefly/Exhumed Roll 2: Fastdraw IS/Steadyhand IS/Truesight IS Zen Moment Extended Mag/Oiled Frame Outlaw/Eye of the Storm Roll 3: Fastdraw IS/Quickdraw IS/Sureshot IS Zen Moment Single Point Sling/Reinforced Barrel Firefly/Eye of the Storm Recommendation: Pass or Roll 3 This was a tough one. Recently Omolon’s Uffern Division has sucked as much as The Division. This is the first week in months that the Uffern has seen some decent rolls. Apparently the new hires at Omolon are very Zen, as all 3 have Zen Moment, which is actually very good for countering “Bloom” aka: Ghost Bullets. The default Impact of the Uffern is High, so you do not need High Calibur Rounds, to stagger your enemies. The Uffern does need Range, & Reinforced Barrel is better on a HC than Rifled Barrel in most situations. Why? Well Reinforced Barrel will lower your Stability where Rifled Barrel reduces Reload. Unless you have Hand-Cannon Loader Gloves or a perk to speed up reload, then you don’t want to reduce your Reload. The Uffern only has 7 in the Magazine. You will reload A LOT. Roll 3 has Sureshot IS which is THE single best Ironsight for ALL Handcannons, it also has Zen Moment which will reduce the number of bullets that you banish into another dimension, Reinforced Barrel for that required range boost to your HC, and finally Firefly for [Censored]ing things up. However, you will NEED Hand Cannon Loader on your gloves for this gun. Honestly the Uffern can roll with the infamous Fatebringer roll thanks to ROI, so waiting might pay off BIGTIME. Personally I feel a HC must have Reinforced or Rifled Barrel, Outlaw or Feeding Frenzy as perks, as they make you significantly more survivable & lower stress. Sight wise you want Truesight or Sureshot, nothing more nothing less. [b][u]Omolon Eirene RR4[/u][/b] Roll 1: Element - Arc Corvo SS2/Faucon SS1 Triple Tap Snapshot/Casket Mag Life Support/Shoot to Loot Roll 2: Element – Void Corvo SS2/Aquila SS4 Firefly High Calibur Rounds/Injection Mold Unflinching/Exhumed Roll 3: Element - Solar Condor SS2/ Faucon SS1 Firefly High Calibur Rounds/Rifled Barrel Life Support/Shoot to Loot Recommendation: Roll 1, Roll 2, or Pass Maybe Omolon moved people around instead of firing them. Firefly on Rolls 2 and 3 are nice. High Calibur Rounds on this Sniper is pointless. Your shot is going to stagger an enemy anyways. The Majority Recommendation is: Roll 1 For all things PVE. I agree. It is a near god roll. I did not choose it because Roll 1 could be better. Life Support on an extreme long distance weapon is a waste imo. You shouldn't be sniping in a situation that calls for Life Support. But enough of my Opinion. Triple Tap & Casket Mag are very good for Boss DPS. As long as you [u]always[/u] land Precision Hits you essentially will have 7 or 8 shots per reload. Due to Flinch, it is significantly harder to land all precision hits in rapid succession. [b]"I"[/b] dislike relying on situational perks. Roll 2 has Corvo SS2 a typical Sniper scope. Firefly is fantastic on Sniper Rifles (PVE wise), injection mold will reduce your range alittle but the added stability is welcomed as the Eirene has some surprising recoil for an Omolon weapon. Unflinching due to the recent nerf is not what it use to be. As all guardians now snipe with broken wrists thanks to the nerf, but it is better than NOT having something to counter flinch with. The people have spoken. Roll 1 is the PVE Winner. Hakke "Hakke. One Round & they're Down." [b][u]Hakke Arminius-D[/u][/b] Roll 1: SC Holo/SD Thermal Danger Close Feeding Frenzy High Calibur Rounds/Speed Reload/Rifled Barrel Roll 2: GB Iron/LC Ranged Crowd Control Counterbalance High Calibur Rounds/Speed Reload/Smallbore Roll 3: SC Holo/LD Watchdog Army of One Feeding Frenzy High Calibur Rounds/Fitted Stock/Rifled Barrel Recommendation: Pass While some of these rolls are tempting. The Arminius-D needs stability like Trump needs superglue for his toupee. The Arminius-D is basically the closest you can get to a Doctrine of Passing without touching Trials, however it needs Braced Frame, Perfect Balance, or a stacking of various Stability Perks. Because it bounces everywhere. Wait on this one. [b][u]Hakke Strongbow-D[/u][/b] Roll 1: Element - Solar Soft Ballistics/Accurized Ballistics Last Resort Hot Swap Lightweight/Hand Loaded/Hand-Laid Stock Roll 2: Element - Arc Smart Drift Control/Aggressive Ballistics Close and/or Personal Hot Swap Flared Magwell/Fitted Stock/Hand-Laid Stock Roll 3: Element - Void Soft Ballistics/Linear Compensator Last Resort Hot Swap Flared Magwell/Perfect balance/Hand-Laid Stock Recommendation: Pass All 3 of these rolls could be SOOOO much better. Not even a discussion. Wait for next week. [b][u]Hakke Lyudmila-D[/u][/b] Roll 1: GA Post/LD Watchdog Danger Close Rangefinder Single Point Sling/Hand Loaded/Reinforced Barrel Roll 2: GB Iron/LC Ranged Glass Half Full Spray & Play High Calibur Rounds/Speed Reload/Hand-Laid Stock Roll 3: GA Post/LC Ranged Surrounded Feeding Frenzy Snapshot/Speed Reload/Hand-Laid Stock Recommendation: Roll 2 (I suggest your reorder this.) Man Hakke must have hired Omolon’s former employees this week… Roll 2 is by far the best out of all of these rolls. If anything…its worth playing around with. GB Iron is a good All-Round/Jack of all Trades Hakke sight, while LC Ranged rewards those who prefer more precise shots (it also boosts range alittle). This gun hits like a Truck, so Glass Half Full makes it even more deadly, Spray & play means you need not fear reloading. Just shoot and it will reload itself in a near instant, coupled with Speed Reload and you’ll marvel at the reload speed (add in Pulse Rifle Loader and you’ll be like: “What’s a reload?”), but you want to use Hand-Laid Stock for added stability. Hakke PRs fire 4 round bursts so that added stability come in handy. Hell, this gun may even be nasty in PVP to be honest. If it had Perfect Balance instead of Hand-Laid Stock, and Full-Auto in place of Glass Half Full I'd call it a God Roll. Roll 2 is the winner. [b][u]Next Week’s Orders:[/u][/b] Suros ARI-45 – 50/50 High Stability, High Impact. Decent Range, only 25 in the Mag. Omolon Tuonela SR4 – This & Omolon’s Cocytus are some of the best SRs in the game. Very well balanced in Impact, Stability & Ammo Capacity. Worth ordering. Hakke Judith-D – Extremely High Impact, Low RoF HC. However it’s tempermental & requires specific rolls. Worth Ordering but you may have to wait some time for a good roll. Hakke Herja-D – 50/50 Not a bad Pulse at all. Not the greatest either. Faster RoF than Lyudmila, but has significantly less impact. (I am testing this gun currently.) Hakke Lyudmila-D – If you didn’t get your roll this week, Order Roll 2, play with it, if you dislike it, dismantle it for Marks & reorder. The Lyudmila hits like a truck. This gun can be a cold-blooded killer especially considering this archtype got buffed in ROI. Worth Ordering.
