How about some changes to Eververse RNG BS?
I've never bought silver, because I'm not a sucker... but man, i just watched teft waste $50 and not get the 1 thing he was looking for.
Man. It was painful to watch someone just throw away $50, and not even get the stuff they were actually trying to buy. Seriously what the hell is going on over there?
There's only 2 ways to make me, and quite possibly the rest of the community, feel better about this mess.
1. People that buy this crap, pick their loot. If you are going to take what is essentially a donation from a devoted fan, you should reward them appropriately. You know how you can preview what is in the package? That can be the screen where you claim your items. How does it usually work? One item from each section?
OR
2. You be completely transparent about how much money is generated by Eververse, and exactly where is goes? I shouldn't have to be a -blam!-ing shareholder to get that data. I want spreadsheets and pie charts on this. Updated weekly kind of transparency.
Neverwinter lets me hand pick my loot from microtransactions, and i didn't have to spend well over $100 dollars to just play.
EDIT:
Bump this for no more RNG in eververse

I'd never buy Silver but I'm bumping this because I agree Eververse should not be RNG.
-
Bumped. I admittedly was stupid and spent like £25 on loot boxes and didn't get a ghost ghost :( My own fault for being suckered in but I hate that you pay money and then don't even get what you're after. If you could literally buy exactly what you wanted they would make more money bc more people would be inclined to buy silver seeing as you can get what you want GUARANTEED

Edited by SmashvilleViking: 11/8/2016 5:40:38 AMSo, you bought the stuff knowing that it is RNG, and now you're complaining? Edit: I don't know what Neverwinter you are playing. Every single chest in that game is RNG.

-blam!-ing bump bump bump...

Bump. -blam!- you bungie - price of a goddamn game and miss the one thing I was looking for. I was expecting to sink money, but was expecting the drop rates to, you know, exist. For a holiday event, this wasn't very generous to your dedicated player base. I've defended Destiny all this time, but this? Yeah. -blam!-ing weak.
Bump
Is it him? I heard you even got your iron gally from a Crucible drop.

I just can't understand paying money for TOTALLY RANDOM items that will actually GIVE YOU THE SAME ITEM MULTIPLE TIMES! Like what the actual F!?!?!? Bungie would make even more money if people could just buy what they want. Bungie would also learn what's cool and what's not by what is selling. The community would also learn if Bungie wasnt shady and not posting anything regarding Eververse's profits. Doubt anyone from the development team will do anything about this. Especially since it seems to be making them money. Making money off of gambling children (and some adult children... Me included.)

Completely and totally agree.

Bump! Rules or not Eververse sucks
-
I'm going to agree with you. I've put some real time into this game and I do buy silver sometimes. I feel that spending 10 or 20 bucks when something new drops isn't that bad, since I have gotten so much out of this game for what I have paid already. But to have a 2% to 3% drop rate on this stuff is insane. If you have a bad ass ghost or emote for a couple bucks, people will buy it. RNG on micro transactions needs to be fixed.

Well said, although yes you do need to be a shareholder to see a company's financials. Them's the rules.

Well said sir. Bump. **MAKE DESTINY GREAT AGAIN**

Everyone KNOWS it's random when you buy this stuff. If you're unwilling to accept the possible negative outcomes of these RANDOM purchases that you CHOOSE to make, then stop choosing to sink money into them to begin with. Anyone who complains about their FotL gamble cosmetics is simply an entitled child.
-
Everyone knows its random.. open your eyes my friend.. thats the complaint. Stop making it random. Im not an eververse person but i do agree with what the mass. It is real money after all.
-
"Open your eyes"... alright bud. Even though I described exactly what was happening... Maybe read my post. I said if they don't like the system, then they shouldn't be feeding into it to begin with. I have more distaste for Bungie/Activision than most, but people feed into their gimmicks and then try and complain after the fact.
