This Rezzyl/Yor theory is just so whack on so many levels, but one piece of evidence completely blows it out of the water.
Rezzyl told his ghost to run, save itself, and warn the city about the hive.
Dregden Yor told his ghost to leave after he was corrupted, otherwise he would kill it.
If Rezzyl's ghost had come back, the grimoire card for him wouldn't have a point. Also there's a grimoire card in which Yor's ghost almost calls him by his old name, and it's nothing like Rezzyl Azzir.
He was either a warlock or a hunter, but most likely a hunter. There's not really any question about it.

No card ever says Yor's real name. It's always replaced by [REDACTED]. Additionally, Rezyl told his Ghost to leave if he didn't come back. The way Xyor phrases her prophesy to him implies that he escapes, saying that one day his light will shatter and fade.

Edited by Zanithos: 10/26/2016 7:38:11 AM"His" light as in the traveler. More than likely Rezzyl is the dead titan on the moon, and his ghost is the dead one we free from the spire inside the hive temple. All the grimoire cards (Rezzyl Azzir, Hive 2) match up if you look at them.

The Hive 2 card says that the Titan died outside the Temple, and his Ghost then was captured. But Rezyl is ambushed deep inside the Temple

But did he die there, or was he dumped there as a warning? This is the hive we're talking about, remember? They revel in despair.

Could mean he got spooked and tried to run. That's the problem with all this speculative lore though. Until Bungie comes out and says something (like Eris being a hunter, which still makes no sense to me), we have to just guess as to what in the hell is going on.
