An open letter to what used to be my favorite studio. First off hats off to you Bungie, honestly year 1 and 2 overall great thing to be apart of. sure we had some ups and downs, nerfs and buffs, you pissed a lot of people off. But hey Ive been a fan since halo 2 came out on xbox360. I sold chocolate for my middle school band all summer just to save up enough money so I could buy it. From then on until you sold the franchise I played it. Then destiny came, and to me it really was the perfect cross between cod and halo and that's what I loved the most about it, I could get my FPS fix while enjoying a great lore-filled experience throughout the solar system. I enjoyed the fact that most people didn't have some of the guns that I did because I spent the time and grinded until I got that perfect crucible roll or grinded the raid to get that weapon I wanted. I enjoyed the fact that it was incredibly difficult to reach 320 light in Y2. I actually won't forget the first time seeing a tier 11, light level 320 in crucible, I SHAT myself lol but I digress... So many good memories have been had with me and my friends playing this game, and that's why it is so hard for me to say goodbye but I must to send a message that I encourage anybody who took the time to read this to at least think about. While I enjoy the pve aspect of this game immensely I will admit that it is the crucible that kept me a daily player of destiny for a much longer time. I remember a time that i was actually happy for iron banner to come, I remember a time that getting my characters flawless was actually fun, when I could go into crucible by myself and still have a little fun. But those days sadly are long gone, between the lagfest 6's are, the fact that you didn't make a penalty for quitting early, the fact that when someone leaves a minute into the game I have a 50-50 shot of that spot getting filled, or the montage I could post of getting shot through walls in an entire green connection game, or the montage of ghost bullets I get going into y3. But I could honestly put all of that aside if you hadn't ruined primaries... I could get over that fact that you are , in essence suckling as much money as possible out of this game while at the same time putting in the bare minimum to keep the game running and to keep people interested. I could get over the fact that you stopped " balancing" the game long ago and turned to systematic nerfing to satisfy the brats that whine about everything being to OP. I get that there have been certain things in this game that needed a stern nerfing but in my opinion it sounds like a bunch of whiney hunter mains complaining that everything else is OP.. like seriously besides vanilla blade dancers and trip mines not sticking any more what is the last nerf they got?? locks got all there dot nerfed into the ground while hunters got a buff to smokes to cause more dot and arms that buffed the scatters to be the most op thing since y2 firebolts... complete hypocrosy... or an 8% nerf to HROF autos while I can still 2 shot with a luna arch type with luck in the chamber... and before anybody starts crying at me I have one of each character and I play them all pretty equally... I DO WORK on my hunter class now, I havnt put sunsinger on for crucible since the tail end of y2 because I think stickies are aids and because u kinda killed them, I even tried max armor, radiant skin, ram... its just not the same.. I know every sub-class has had nerfs but that is the only one that I really cant enjoy at all anymore.. Now primaries, I understand that certain archtypes need nerfs now and again but you guys stopped buffing other archtypes to keep it interesting. Now I feel like if im not running a pulse with a shotty I can barely maintain a 1.0. Yeah part of that is cause im probably just bad but honestly I used to run snipes in 6's and have a great time working on my quick scopes. now everytime I get to close ot get a scope off I try using my primary only to get mapped by some god rolled matador or fusioned from like 100 ft away. What's the point of a primary anymore?? Only thing I can use it for now is an assist on my special. Obviously there are exceptions but the vast majority of primaries that aren't meta are completly unusable in crucible. So good luck with your broken game.. I spent two years and$175 something dollars later I am officially done with you bungie congrats on ruining what shouldve been the greatest franchise in history see yall on Infinite warfare.
