Upcoming changes to Silver Dust go live 11/8/2016

There has been some great feedback about the Silver Dust Economy. Here is a preview of what is coming.

We want to ensure that players who are completing Rise of Iron’s pinnacle challenges feel rewarded for their success. With this patch Trials, Wrath of the Machine, and Iron Lord Armor Ornaments will no longer require Silver Dust to apply. The Silver Dust requirement for applying Exotic Weapon Ornaments will remain, as the Silver Dust required for application is provided by the Radiant Treasure box.
Year 1 and Year 2 Iron Banner armor found in Dusty Iron Engrams and on activity completion of Iron Banner matches was incorrectly dismantling into Legendary Marks. With the patch, these items, when dismantled, will now yield 1 Silver Dust.
These changes are being made to promote a positive player experience as well as accommodate future changes and balances to the Eververse and Silver Dust economy which we will reveal in our winter release.[/quote]

Nobody cares about this. Fixes like this make me care less about the game than i already do.. Fix the issues regarding actually playing the game first. Goes to show they only care about what makes them money..remember when there was an issue with eververse before and they fixed it the next day?.but the game is still in a dire state or repair.

Cozmo, if the dusty iron engrams are 5 silver dust, then why make it to where you waste 4 silver dust, when it should be the price of at least 50-75 legendary marks minimum Also, keep up the good work! ;)

An Ornament Kiosk where Silver Dust is used to UNLOCK Ornaments that have been acquired. Price is 1 Silver Dust to unlock. 3. Rusty Iron Engrams drop Year 1 Iron Banner Armor. Dusty Iron Engrams drop Year 2 Armor. 4. Silver Dust can be exchanged for Silver. 25 Silver Dust = 100 Silver. 5. Silver Dust is no longer needed to attach Ornaments. PERIOD.

@Cozmo it's been a couple of weeks since this announcement and now with the release of wotm challenges I think some specifics would be nice. We don't want to stare at ornaments from those 3 sets knowing it would be a waste of silver dust to apply them now.

9 RepliesUm if you infuse a weapon with ornaments thats higher light into a lower light weapon will those ornaments still be there from the weapon with the ornaments? Talking same weapon here. If not that is bullshit. And ornaments should come off when you dismantle the weapon. So this ornamnet system is really broken...

2 RepliesWe know you are saving ornaments to use as eververse bait. It's obvious you are spreading out the release of them to trick people into spending more. A little bit on release of Roi, then for fotl, then the next "live event" that was supposed to be free (funded by eververse) but now is built to profit from us. You are ruining this game and your own reputation.
