Upcoming changes to Silver Dust go live 11/8/2016

There has been some great feedback about the Silver Dust Economy. Here is a preview of what is coming.

We are currently working on several changes to the Silver Dust economy to improve the player experience. We want to ensure that players who are completing Rise of Iron’s pinnacle challenges feel rewarded for their success. With this patch Trials, Wrath of the Machine, and Iron Lord Armor Ornaments will no longer require Silver Dust to apply. The Silver Dust requirement for applying Exotic Weapon Ornaments will remain, as the Silver Dust required for application is provided by the Radiant Treasure box.
Year 1 and Year 2 Iron Banner armor found in Dusty Iron Engrams and on activity completion of Iron Banner matches was incorrectly dismantling into Legendary Marks. With the patch, these items, when dismantled, will now yield 1 Silver Dust.
These changes are being made to promote a positive player experience as well as accommodate future changes and balances to the Eververse and Silver Dust economy which we will reveal in our winter release.[/quote]

4 RepliesLook its your game and in no way am I buying silver under this current format but a friendly warning on your RNG packs that you pay for. You are dangerously close to crossing over to the definition of lottery and/or gambling which would make you quite vulnerable legally. Like I said its not my problem because I didn't waste money but that might not stop some of these other ragers.

2 RepliesThe guy who posted beneath this post is exactly right . It's BS to install a pay to play + rng. If you spend real money you should be able to receive an item you purchase. Not a chance at said item. You have RNG in game Bungie. Adding it to purchased items for the "chance" of getting an item is very shitty.

4 RepliesEveryone should just shut up. They are not forcing you to pay. It is no different than any other loot box in any other game. The taken king one was bad I spent close to 100 for a full set in each character. This one was not bad at all I spent 50 and got everything. If you don't like it then don't pay as simple as that nothing from those packages gives me an advantage over anyone else.

How about change your skeet ass microtransaction grinding methods to make money off people, you can fo microtransactions the right way by giving us the stuff to buy specifically from the vendor with the exception of paying more for what we want instead of us throwing away money for shit

Holding these type of extras hostage from your player base and hiding behind a rng firewall is just not good ethics. It is cowardly and petty. If that's the legacy you wish to leave, all in the name of profitability, have at it. First rule to a successful business...give them what they paid for.
