• Yikes. Here let me help you. Vosik part 1: same as normal Vosik part 2: throw six charges instead of 3. Shoot monitors with sniper instead of primary. Slide in to clean rooms (limbo) War machine: same as normal. Before heading out of trench with parts to ramp of siege engine, drop them and everyone shoots perfected walker. Aksis part 1: same but there are 3 turrets to shoot on 20 second timers. Aksis part 2: same but each round of charges requires 7 throws to drop his shield. Enjoy

Still totally disagree on having the cannon grabber move. Like you said in the video, it literally doesnt take more than a couple of seconds for someone to switch places. So why in God's name would you have someone who also needs to focus on servitors move - especially when you know for a fact that many of those servitors will be late because your team mates dont kill theirs to free up the next spawn. On top of this you also have to constantly keep track of the HP bar, because if someone throws the last ball when you're out chasing a servitor you might be screwed. Hence, it's way easier to always have one dedicated guy on cannon, regardless of empowerment. Because on the sides atleast you never have to leave your spot to take down servitors. And the orb thrower, in the event that he has to switch - due to double empowerments -will probably will be on the other side long before the first orb is down (and even if he doesnt you'll have plenty of time to grab the orb and simply throw it, takes 1 second). Additionally, it's way easier for someone who actually throws orbs to keep track of the HP meter - and he can throw the last orb when he's at the plate. By having dedicated roles you never have to end up in a situation where some random forgets if he's supposed to throw orbs or grab the cannon with empowerment or that the guy who totally blows at one thing is forced to do it. Also - and I'm saying this as someone who has three hunters; LFG groups should never , NEVER, ask for Hunters. The only place where hunters are decent is the siege engine but on everything els you're way better of with the survivability that self-res warlocks and defenders bring. Because that's the problem in LFG groups, survivability. DPS is literally never the issue so there is no need for tethers.

      • All you gotta do is have good communication😃 plus it's less stress because everyone knows if one person dies or if they die the whole team has to wipe.

          • Here's the thing: the issue with detailed guides is not in the guide, it's in the average attention span of the people listening. Many raids would be much shorter if people had the patience to listen to detail. Any goober can explain the main objective and mechanic in 2 sentences. The detail is there to save people time figuring out the little things that can and do go wrong or the little things that can help massively. But in my experience, no one has the capacity for that, so I wouldn't try. I appreciate details, but when I'm in sloppy raid groups I have learned to just sit back and watch people make the same mistakes repeatedly. Always got a few people saying "this is SO ez," adding absolutely nothing to the situation but sodium.

            •
EDIT - ive read the comments to be more "scripted" and proffesional so im now in the process of scripting them. i normally just like to speak my mind on videos but if you need a mroe scripted one then its my job to do so! so do look out for them guys.
There are 2 major ways to Youtube. Some work very well with unscripted videos and ramble but make up for it with usually entertaining and funny ways (a rare gift that some entertainers have and we gravitate towards them). Most cannot do this successfully, yet a vast majority of Youtubers fall in this catagory. The other group takes the professional TV approach. Be prepared, be scripted, practice. Do retakes of bad lines and edit. Match video to your talking points. Use text as needed on screen to help the viewer and keep them engaged. Top Destiny examples for "detailed and scripted": Datto (love his videos as he is well spoken and detailed in all his videos on Destiny. Look to his videos as a good example of detailed guides. Watch his "my thoughts" videos to see a scripted "ramblings" of things and how those should still be scripted.) My name is Byf (another well scripted and composed content provider.) True Vanguard (excellent use of video footage to show examples for his guides). You have the ambition to make videos and to put yourself out there. For that, you are 99% ahead of everyone else. The next leap is to be the best of those 1% making videos. That takes hard work and the willingness to improve, learn and accept criticism. Good luck.

                  • Here's the issue with people having trouble.....many people are still struggling with normal mode or have yet to finish it and then jump straight to heroic saying I'm experienced.

                  • Someone on my raid team saw a video for the Zamboni that made it a million times easier. Forget the swords, and just grab a Gally because it's easier to clear adds after the first wall goes down. What we did was shoot the guns off the first skiff, kill the captain, and then we didn't grab the parts. We waited for the second and third skiffs to spawn, and we shot off their turrets and used Gally on the adds as they dropped down. Then we pushed up the right side without anyone shooting at us until the end, where you just destroy the walker really fast and get the parts onboard

I feel the biggest tip is to be ready to pick up slack or a role( throw/cannon) without being told

It's easy enough. We ended up 5 manning the engine parts and most of the final fight with ease. It's the same team I've played with since the first raid and players that I've had friended for at least a year. I won't even attempt to find an lfg team.

It's weird how this heroic raid gets easier the further into you get. Biggest struggle for my team was Vosik pt 2 with all the adds we spent a little time on, but then we finished the siege engine in 4 minutes 43 seconds our first try lol. And aksis is pretty much the same exact fight for some reason lol.
