Do people actually care about a ship that is a purely, 100%, completely and totally cosmetic item only?
I'd give up all my ships and just have a toaster floating in space if it meant I could have full sets of raid armour.

Are we talking about the same game here? My multiple completions of the raid with no armour rewards beg to differ with your opinion. It's Vault of Glass all over again with its stinginess in giving out armour. I actually gave up last night. Ran through the raid, got no armour, couldn't see a point in playing anymore so went and watched movies.

Now I will agree I have said the same to my raid group as well I admit my exact words were this is vog all over again with armor drops but I use a key at every chest which has brought me most my armor if not all the armor I have

Every time, Every. Single. Time, I open the loot box at Aksis I get 10 motes of light. Every. Single. Time. Even last night when I took two raid virgins through it. On the plus side, I did get the arms for my Titan. Now I just need that chest piece to make my future hard mode run a little easier.

Raid armor is easy to get :) Not that ship. And we are legions waiting for it.
