Damage was to add more high impact legendaries and give diversity of archetype. Go get a new high impact legendary. Now the mid impact really are midimpact Flinch was because snipers are supposed to be rewarded for shooting first not through fire. Aim assist was also diversity of archetype. Low impact have high aim assist if you want that

    Aim assist wasn't much bother to me, the fact that snipers have lost the ability to shutdown supers and struggle to challenge primary too makes them feel weak when compared to shotguns.

Again, shotguns are only viable in close quarters whereas snipers previously were viable in most ranges. You call that balance? Done with you. You have no common insight on what balance is.

  • People have different views, you come from a different angle than me. It's probably why Bungie has a bad track record with nerfs, they have a massive team of people with mostly different views so of course decisions are hard. I'm sorry for having a go at you over an opinion, as I said I was just salty before xD

    The highest impact can take down supers and there are legendaries now. If your problem is shotguns then thats a close range weapon buff or shotgun nerf. Not a change to snipers. If you shot first or the same time you will win with a sniper from range

    They've basically took a sniping method out in terms of flinch, but I'm just gonna have to adapt like everyone says right?

  • If you mean run and gun sniping you can do that still. Use a low impact and take the sacrifice to shutting down supers. Their stats are more forgiving. Flinch only removes the standing in fire and shooting. If you're playstyle is ruined then you were never getting the first shot to begin with or avoiding fire.

  • I mix it up, i used to be able to bait people into chasing me then pull a quick 180 and try and get the headshot, that obviously doesn't work anymore, so I guess I'm gonna have to adapt and stuff. I've heard the new crucible sniper is a good high impact so I might give it a go
