I thought artifacts being class specific have a clue as to the class of the person it was named for.
I think Bungie is trying to tell us that isn't necessarily the case.
Deidris's Fist is a hunter artifact. Deidris was a titan.

How do you know? Perun did mention Deidris as someone she could trust?

The artifact is called Deidris's Fist. It's a heavy plate armor gauntlet. Titans use their fists. The weapon that is named for Lady Deidris is a shotgun. The flavor text reads: A brute force weapon forged in fire by the Lords of the Iron Banner.

Felwinter had a shotgun. He wasn't a titan though he did know shoulder charge

Ok you're kind of getting too interpretive here. Just because it's a glove doesn't mean she's a titan. It's a glove btw, not a gauntlet or fist. And a shotgun doesn't mean anything. A shotgun is a brute force weapon, and felwinter used one. He was a warlock, btw.

To each their own. Show me a titan artifact named Cayde's Throwing Knife and you'll convince me Cayde isn't a hunter.

Um morbyn. You're the one who should be trying to prove that
-
No ... I don't have to "prove" anything. See, you seem to be under the impression that we don't get to have our own opinions. I merely stated that it is my belief that class specific artifacts might not prove the class of the person said artifact was named for. If you believe Deidris's Fist was named for a hunter who ran around punching things, you're free to believe that. I choose to believe otherwise.

Never said you can't have an opinion, I was saying it has to be backed up to be believable. And I just don't think there's enough evidence to think that. I know we all have opinions, just don't insult me for saying you need to back it up. Also they're gloves. Doesn't mean Deidris punched stuff.
