I could tell you of an Iron Lord...
I could tell you of her trials, her pain, her disappearance...
They use to tell stories and sing songs of her great battles...
But now...now the people no longer care...
You must protect the light Guardian.
Enter the Iron Banner...and put down your fellow Guardians.
Extinguish their light, then...you will be ready to push back The Darkness.

Yeah, after learning more about the Iron Banner, I really felt like it should've been a PvE activity. The founders wanted to protect people from hostile Guardians though, so I guess it's justified?

The Iron Lords wanted to protect everyone from the greatest of threats. Hostile Guardians...much to my dismay I do not recall that bit of lore. Where did you see that bit? I was totally talking like The Speaker in my OP. Lol. Half joke, half serious.
