The standard vanguard and crucible bounties could really use a buff in terms of the amount of reputation they give you upon completion. Most of them only award 50 rep. But sometimes they can be frustrating to complete, or take way longer than they should (like when the taken show up and de-pawn all the enemies you needed to kill). So why would I waste 15 or 20 minutes trying to complete a single bounty, when I could go do one VIP patrol in less than 60 seconds, for the same amount of rep? Back in year one, once you had acquired the reputation buff from the nightfall, you could earn almost one quarter of a vanguard rank just by turning in the 6 daily bounties. You don't even get half of that now. That really needs to change. 50 out of 2500 rep is a drop in the bucket and barely worth considering.
