Yeah, that's great advice except the range on shotguns is ridiculous! I'm consistently getting one shot killed from auto rifle range and two shot killed from even further out. There's always a problem with balance when 98% of the players are using the same class of weapons.

If you are having trouble beating a shot gun please refer to steps 1-7 of the above guide.
-
That is the most stupid thing I've ever heard.
-
Well, that's a blatant lie
-
LOL! Why lie? We all play the same game 😂😂😂
'm consistently getting one shot killed from auto rifle range and two shot killed from even further out.
I love how people make shit up when they're butthurt.
-
All you babies on here were probably on here whining about snipers having too much aim assist and not enough flinch. Now they have way too much flinch there almost useless unless your hiding. So now you can run around with your shotguns and no counter.
-
Whining about snipers? You literally just cried a river about shotguns kid.
-
There is a problem with players when a class gets nerfed 8 times and they are still making excuses.
-
If there so nerfed than why are 98% of the players running shotgun? Why not fusion rifles? Because shotguns have way too much range.
-
They are still being used because supremacy is Iron banner and because they are easy to use... In any game where shotguns are secondaries shotguns are the most used. A shotgunner dies 9/10 after their first kill. Not very overpowered. A gun can't be overpowered when common sense can beat it out.
-
Exactly.

In this case it's got zilch to do with "balance" in terms of load-out (shotguns). Zilch. It's all about the way this mode plays out. By it's nature it shrinks the playing field way, way down = no other choice but close quarters = shotguns. Shotguns DO NOT need any more nerfs. ANY other mode and it doesn't work out the same way. In addition to close quarters there is no other mode that rewards fire teams as much. This mode is a solo player's nightmare. I play a lot and have earned my way up the HARD way since yr 1........and when I dip to 10% wins and 1.0 or less k/d SOMETHING is very wrong. I didn't become a shit player overnight. Any other normal mode and I couldn't care less if I see a fire team on the other side..........happy to play them and I do well. But the objective and scoring is very slanted toward fire teams. Go ahead, check the stats on all three of my characters. As you can see my Warlock is just recently powered up somewhat after sitting dormant for a long time. It reflects what kind of player I am THESE DAYS. My Hunter main, I brought up since yr 1 and was at one point minus 5,000 deaths. I have never and will never delete or start a character over for the sake of appearance. The other Hunter is a character that isn't mine......but I recently started taking it into pvp to get it positive, which I did. IT'S THE MODE, bro, not shotguns.

Edited by Just Dave Man: 10/9/2016 1:19:48 AMNowhere did anybody specify a mode. Shotguns are rampant in every mode at the moment.
-
That's what I'm saying, every mode is shotguns.

Edited by Willakkuma: 10/8/2016 1:04:51 PMCorrect, Einstein. I'M the one talking about mode/shotgun, because it's relevant. The mode is the issue. Don't like it.........mute me and move one. And for the record - - I have thousands of shotgun kills, look up the numbers if you like. I'm an avid shotgun user so I can speak from long experience. The first IB with new expansion is tailor made for fire teams. If Bungie is going to slant it this way, then run IB Supremacy in "Freelance" solo queue mode for half the week, or just add that lobby.
-
I bet you were one of the players whining about snipers before they got nerfed because you were getting killed before your sliding shotgun move.
-
Edited by Willakkuma: 10/8/2016 8:43:41 PMNever once complained about snipers. They were never that much of an issue for me. I've never asked for ANY nerf. I'll put in a request to buff your posting abilities though. You're welcome. Besides........I got Supremacy figured out and already hit lvl 5 on the two characters I have that can play it effectively at the present time. More or less, all one has to do is go against their natural tendency to survive and simply complete the game objective - - which requires a player to die in the process in a lot of scenarios. I'd prefer to compete in the inner ring of the Supremacy onion, but the real trick is learning when to go in/out from inner to outer ring. The results are in bro: Most folks responding to you here think you're incorrect. Good luck.

Lol at auto rifle range... I know that shits made up. Ive got a good matador and a god pc+1 and never sniped anyone at auto range. If you got hit that far out you must have already been one shot
-
Auto rifle range is pretty close dude, unless you have a range perk. There is no counter for shotguns unless you snipe them from a distance. There's always balance issues when everyone is using the same weapons.
-
Lol I can hit people with a Doctrine from across tge map. Zhalo Supercell is pretty decent too. I'm sorry you don't have thumbs.
-
Auto rifle range is more medium to min long range if shot right that no where close to where shotguns can hit. Stop BSing
-
Auto rifle ranges is short range! Pulse rifles are medium range dude.
-
You can shoot a auto rifle from min range a shotgun can't do that.
