Was just watching an old video of destiny crucible, auto rifles were perfect back then, the auto rifle nerf was the biggest injustice ever made, there was no reason for the nerf, just a whim and a -blam!- move by you bungie, people didn't complain about autos, they complained about suros, and when the nerf landed you -blam!-ed up good.
The so called "2% nerf" ended up being a 10% nerf for all autos (though I suspect it was even more), and I say this because people who actually ran the numbers proved it. Going back to the old video I saw, crits on high impact autos was 30, while body hits where around 20 & 21, when we all heard that autos where getting a buff I got excited thinking auto rifles would come back, but we all know what happened after that, the infamous "typo". Even if you had done the buff you said you'd apply, wasn't even going to bring autos back to where they used to be.
Again, someone ran the numbers and high impact autos wouldn't even get near to the original numbers, high impacts would do a little over 26 crits maybe even 27, I don't remember correctly, still not enough to compete now a days because autos still are underpowered at close range, which they should be at their strongest.
Point is, if you say you listen to the community, why didn't you fix autos when everyone was telling you it was a big mistake, what's the point of having the community tell you something is wrong and you just ignore it, you erased a weapon class almost completely, either deej or cozmo don't do their jobs well enough, or the devs are such assholes that don't give a shit about what is being told to them.
