338 vs 384

So today im playing trials and a 338 somehow two shots me with a hawkmoon, regardless if he got the perk bonus theres a 40+ light difference. So what happened to light level advantage enabled?

Just because his overall light level was 338, doesn't mean his Hawkmoon wasn't 370.
