Skeleton Keys drop so little and inconsistent. Solution? Give Skeleton Keys the Siva Cache Key treatment! Make bosses drop Key fragments - IN ADDITION TO ACTUAL KEYS - so we can make some keys. 1 to 2 per strike would be fair giving you a chance to open chests every 6 to 8 strikes. Rerolling gear would also be good to help us achieve a guardian we like in both looks and perks.
[i]I would add them as Crucible rewards to foment PvE doing PvP and vice-versa, but that's might not be a popular idea.[/i]
[i][u]Edit:[/u] people also want them to be able to be purchased. 150 marks seem reasonable to me. Some motes or marks + a legendary engram (primary weapon or class item is my suggestion) could work, similar to Variks's class items. Please comment if you would like them to be purchasable as well, and what currency would be fair.[/i]

Great idea about also requiring more to purchase a key such as also requiring a legendary engram, since I've seen some comments that just legendary marks is too little. That plus some amount of Legendary Marks (we need something else to spend them on) sounds fair while not making it to easy (fast) to stock up on skeleton keys. [b]Suggest: [/b]1 Legendary Armor engram AND 1 Legendary Weapon engram AND 100 Legendary Marks FOR 1 Skeleton Key. [b]One other suggestion[/b] I read elsewhere: Add a weekly quest to earn one key (per character). Similar to the Tyra Karn's weekly quest for class items, but give it to Shiro-4 or Saladin. The quest could complete some number (5?) high-level strikes. This way farming for keys (an exercise in futility) will always net you at least one key per character per week.
