All my skeleton keys are gone
I had 5 skeleton keys. Started strike, wanted to open chest at the end it showed "Requires Skeleton Key". Looked at my inventory, vault, other characters' inventory, all my skeleton keys are gone.
Already posted this issue on [url=https://redd.it/55egr3]reddit[/url]. Looks like day after day more people having this issue. Interestingly Bungie didn't put this on "known issues list".
Please, up-vote this post to get Bungie's awareness on this issue.

Same happened to me. End of strike, one dropped, went to chest because I needed to go from 5 to 4 before picking up dropped skeleton key. Went to open chest, all were gone.

Same thing has just happened to me, second time it's happened. 9 or 10 keys in total.

Same thing just happened to me. Had 5 in my inventory for my Hunter, went to open chest in Winter's Lair, said I needed key, check inventory and they have all gone.

Still happening in Jan 17. Also had a stack of 5. Could there be an issue with having the max stack and another key trying to drop, resulting in all being deleted?

same here... 5 keys in the vault, 1 in hunter's inverntory and 1 in titan's inventory. one day later i want to add 2 keys to my warlock but the 5 keys in the vault are away. thx bungie for the wasted time to farming keys.

Just happened to me too, 5 on warlock, 1 in postmaster. Logged out had tea, came back, logged in, all gone. How will I get my double class items out of Undying chest now?

Logged in a few minutes later and all 6 skeleton keys were gone (5 on the warlock and 1 at the postmaster). Bungie's official information on this issue doesn't state that all keys should vanish into thin air. It's a serious bug in the software that's been around for a while now and which bungie couldn't be bothered to fix. Funny how the software isn't buggy when they want our money.

Just noticed this happened to me yesterday. Happened to get Fallen Saber running Siva Heroic Strikes with a friend. Thought i had 5 keys in my inventory... chest wouldn't open, checked inventory... zero keys! I've only been playing one character since RoI and I never put the keys in the vault. Also, i know for a fact that i didn't spend them on anything else because heavy weapons from Fallen Saber is all i've been looking for. Thankfully keys are dropping more frequently. Hopefully this is only happening with Skeleton Keys... However, the person i play with regularly is a "collector" and is almost positive that some of his year 1 gear has gone missing. He would never have dismantled it knowingly.

2 RepliesStill happening. Logged on this morning after collecting 6 skeleton keys the night before (one sitting in the mail). Finally got the strike I was after to open the chest. Wouldn't let me, so I checked my inventory to find I had none. Thanks for wasting my time Bungie. Maybe stick to making games where you don't collect items so it's a little easier for you.

1 ReplyJust want to reiterate that this is still happening. Went to bed last night with 5 keys and one in the post master and logged on this morning to none. Pretty pissed to be honest, I'll be wanting them back bungie.

Same here. Had 5 in the vault and a few on my character. Checked now and all that I have is 1 on the character and zero in the vault. What is bad is Bungie acknowledged a problem but not what we are experiencing. The postmaster and your vault have nothing to do with each other. I guess next they'll make us buy the keys back that we earned already. Seems like it's all about the money..........as if buying the game legally is not enough money!
