Is Outbreak Prime Even Worth It? If so or if not why?
OK so I've been trying to get the quest for Outbreak Prime with no such luck having everything that could possibly go wrong happen along the way. The farthest I've gotten is Aksis Pt2 and around the second or third DPS stage everyone got kicked because of internet connection with the host, and the worst thing that happened was getting to the last stage where one fights Aksis and having the fireteam leader kick everyone to bring in his own raid team to beat the raid. So naturally this gets exhausting. (Yes I am well aware of my below average light level but I am still able to hold my own.) So after all this over the past 48 hours I'm wondering if the gun is even worth trying for at this stage in the game and if I should just wait till I'm a higher light and can run the raid easy and then try to acquire the quest. Or if I should try and get the quest at all at this point. What do you guys think?
TL;DR-I've had bad raid luck trying to get the Outbreak Prime. Is it even worth it?

Definitely worth it. If you're in ps4 I'll help out. The OP looks awesome, has cool unique perks and is really good against fallen bosses.

Alot of exotic quests are stupid. The sword quests, for example. Unless youre a nightstalker hunter, good luck getting all tjem flakes in one session.. then after that you need to kill a bunch of stuff and 25 guardians, which is hella hard cuz swords are so impractical in pvp. THEN after youve grinded for mats and ruined your KD, you have even more things to kill. Only rhem will you get a sword with a bit more ammo, a fancy heavy attack, and a lost exotic slot that needs to be given to zahlo supercell again

1 ReplyIt is a fantastic weapon. Does really good DPS for a Primary, plus can clear waves of lower tier mobs with a couple of bursts. The Nanites stagger enemies, meaning that you can kill major captains in the raid with ease. All around, an excellent weapon for the raid.

Yes. Even if you don't like it, infuse it or equip it while opening faction packages/exotic engrams. By doing that, I went from 373 to 377 in just 4 faction packages.
