Outbreak Prime is in desperate need of the "Necrochasm" treatment; do it sooner rather than later, Bungie

When the Necrochasm was first obtained, it spent the longest time in our vaults due to how underwhelming it is was. It's not that the concept was bad; Cursed Thrall explosions sounded amazing but they only occurred SOMETIMES when you got precision kills. Eventually you guys buffed it to proc on all precision kills, buffed the strength of it, and gave the Necrochasm a perk (Zen Moment) that complements said exotic perk activation requirements. It only took around nine months and became immediately irrelevant with the launch of The Taken King though. Now we have Outbreak Prime, which sounded so amazing..It really is neat having what is essentially a swarm grenade happening on precision kills...But you put a lengthy cool down of TEN SECONDS on the Exotic perk, which doesn't even hit extremely hard in PvE nor PvP. You made the same mistake you did with the Necrochasm because you were scared of the weapon being too good and a lot of people are using it as infusion fodder because of it. (The light is just better spent on other primaries..) So, how about you guys fix that mistake relatively quickly this time around instead of taking nine months? Buff the Exotic perk nanites to hit a bit harder, and shorten the cooldown of it. Outlaw is a fine perk and doesn't need to be changed. Make the gun worth the Exotic slot. EDIT: I don't think Outbreak Prime sucks. It's in a decent archetype for PvE usage and a great one for PvP usage. It's the Exotic perk, which should be the main pull of the weapon, that is underwhelming. Overall it feels like there's no real advantage to using it in PvE over Dogma+Exotic Heavy, or things like The Last Word and Hawksaw in PvP. (The latter saves your Exotic slot for something like Truth) Edit 2: To clarify for those few people that think I'm talking about the other perk, I'm referring to the Exotic perk that releases a nanite swarm on a precision kill and the singular damage of a nanite itself. The perk that releases them on rapid hits is perfectly fine and doesn't need to be adjusted. Edit 3: This isn't just about PvP, not sure where you guys are pulling that from. I specifically stated the Exotic perk is mediocre in both PvP and PvE.
