Mine is this from the Owl Sector Page
SHU: They're Guardians, Quist. Means the Light has cooked their brains. Haven't you seen them dancing in the Plaza, for no reason, with no music at all? We'll take what we can get.
To be fair I. Consider lore anything on weapons, armor, items, grim cards, or even Character quotes. As they are all built into the game by the Devs to set the tone and character of different events, places, items or even the NPC's we enter act with or those long forgotten in the golden age. To me "Lore" isn't just the dry history, but the experiences of the characters and the story's told so that we may have a better understanding of those in our world today, those that came before and the events that tie it all together. If those are little snippets or long explanations they all still help us to see who these people were that left this history behind for us and shape the overall story.

To this day, the one text (might not be lore in context of the Girmoire) that no matter how many times I read it is from the [armory]Dusk Tread IV[/armory] Warlock boots. "Contrary to Hunter assertion, 'floofing about' is NOT an acceptable term for gliding." When I got these back during the TDB days, I was only playing a Hunter and this made me laugh so hard that I immediately went and made my Warlock just so I could floof about I'm happy to see that Bungie is going back to adding whimsical flavor text to items that are new with RoI.
