I love this record book idea. It beats the hell outta moments of triumph, and when I get bored, I just look to see what I need to work on, and go play. It's a good way to keep occupied, and if they want to add more things to do, it doesn't seem too hard to throw in more active quests to complete. Good job on that, Bungie!

I really like the book idea too. Huge improvement over having to have my phone nearby to know what I need to do next to "complete" the year. I also really like that they added more rewards and in-between rewards that don't make a huge impact on your game. Gives ypu more of a reason to actually go for the achievements.

Edited by Helios 2117: 10/24/2016 3:56:01 AMI actually like the record book idea as well.
-
I like the idea of the record book, bit it shouldn't require you to both PVE and PVP. Personally I suck at PVP, so it's a grind for me now.
-
Im not the armor looks amazing but comes with shitty stats and perks.
-
I like it except the iron gear is quite bland. At least the hunter gear I've look at so far isn't visually appealing and the hc loader is a wasted perk.
-
I love it, just can't understand why the Siva Crisis heroic strikes don't count towards it yet the regular Siva strikes do. There's no reason to play those unless you want to complete the book. My only complaint though
-
I think it was a great addition. Not only does it give us clear and concise paths of play, the loot milestones feel absolutely rewarding. Awesome implement guys. Huge improvement.
-
I love it ... New things to do ...
-
It's a sweet addition.

Just got my class items today, my hunter is now complete.

I hear ya buddy, I'm enjoying leveling up the record book.

Edited by SaltyJack591: 9/30/2016 3:22:29 PMI like the record book, getting a participation reward is a good idea to get players more engaged in the whole game. Still most players will not get above rank 12. We still need in game tools for team building for raids and ToO. LFG is completely toxic, full of elitists with ridiculous demands and has been for quite some time. The latest trend is to invite players only to boot them when arriving at the exotic chest at which point they invite their friends to join. Players will get discouraged and leave the game if the can't access all the game has to offer. I think the boot from team needs to exist, I just think it needs to be a team vote and not the party leader.

I like it. It's very convenient. I like how the rewards are tied to the different tiers/levels it keeps you interested and within sight/grasp. Nicely thought out. Some of the items I don't agree with, like Trials passage...like wtf. They should have just kept the new pvp modes in it. Some of the other items will be a problem for many people who buy the game late or decide to do them late in the expansion. For example: kill 30 raid bosses, Throwing bombs at bosses etc etc

So are the emblems from the book going to kinda count as the moments of triumph year 3 emblems, or will there be a literal year 3 MoT?
-
I like the idea.
-
I hate it shit stats and perks with a terrible shotgun woo. So worth it.
-
Need to add more cause the rewards are not good past the sniper gun. The gears should have been higher light level.
-
Needs work but a great step forward e.g. Tasks should be equal to a rank not exp towards one

-
I like the Record Book. It's quite fun. (。’▽’。)
-
I love the record book! I just wish heroic strikes counted towards the 20 strike goal
-
Yep, great fun. I'm not looking forward to crucible, but like moments of triumph last year I'll enjoy it once I'm in there.
-
Just another way to keep u grinding for rewards that are not worth the time
-
Yeah its great especially when it drops a rise of iron ghost that gives you glimmer for killing taken.......
-
Agree. It would be a great way to incorporate Grimoire into the game too. You could unlock stuff for getting Grimoire points.
-
I've gotten all of the armor, crappy perks on them, too bad because the armor looks bad ass. Everything else after is shaders and emblems, I do want the class items though.
