When I say "bad endings" I mean an ending that just didn't do the franchise Justice, an ending that was cliche or an ending that just simply Sucked. First Runner up: Gears of War 3. Marcus Fenix fights a war that he assumed took the life of his dad, the first game they used light mass missiles with coordinates locked onto the enemies turf. The second game, the one with the most creative ending, the humans of Jacinto flood their last city to try and stop the locust. The third one -oh my god- Marcus finds out his dad is actually alive (cliche) then his dad informs him that he has a machine that could end the war once and for all, they fight their way to the machine, then they warm it up while a wave of enemies continuously arrive to try and stop them, they fight Myrrah and her tempest, they kill the tempest and press the button on the machine and they win the war, all thanks to Adam Fenix, the one insignificant thing you'd never expect to have any part in the end.
