When the light level requirement rises to 370 and emblem is required.
Sad for those below current requirements, but on the bright side that means there's only a month before that stuff dissapears for good, and VoG and CE posts start to reappear, and people aren't so strict with their WotM teams.
The lfg life cycle
Edit 1: Okay, so it would appear I need to clearly state something here.
No, im not complaining and calling you an ass if you do this. That's your choice to moderate how you want to have your raid, and that's all good.
I just like finding and recording trends on lfg, because it's like Destiny psychology. And because there is a predictable life cycle whenever a new endgame activity releases.

-
Recommended is 370 why would it be a bad thing if people that have done it ask for the same?
-
LFG: must send photos to prove you've actually been outside this week, and that prove you don't live in your parents basement. Also must send pay stubs from your last two paychecks, to prove you have a job. Please include the political party you support so I don't have to hear your ramblings about whatever candidate is saying what.
-
Need 69 Huntlocks, Defenstalk class, 420+ light, need to have year 13 Last Thorn Moon and Jellyblaster, and needs 1234 Challenge of Crota's Vault. Add Xx_blazomaster_xX will be checking ELO and KD if not over 80085 and 77 respectively it will be a kick/ban.

If I'm getting a group of randoms together I'll ask for whatever the -blam!- I want...it's my team... And if you're not high 360s at least you're doing less damage than everyone else... Instead of bitching try finding a group of people close to the same light and run the raid get your light up instead of bitching about how others play THEIR game...

Edited by crazeeavery: 9/30/2016 4:44:28 PMI'm Still seeing some 360+ what I find funny is when you see them saying must be 370+ and their 365 and under.
-
I only want 390's on my team
-
We carried a 348 in to the raid and he beat it at 357. I dare someone to say "below 370 is makes it too hard" to me.
-
Edited by The BEATDWN: 9/30/2016 1:57:21 PMIt's always gonna be that way. Still to this day I haven't completed Aksis with the same team I started with. People just don't seem to have the skill to survive the CP, or the wit to be coordinated. 90% of groups I've played with can't even get him to the damage phase so the more capable members of the community use that emblem to find eachother.
-
Honestly, I'm not looking to spend 2 hours on the boss alone. With a team that's 370+ and has the emblem, they most of the time know what they're doing and we can get the run done in 2 or 3 tries. I can complete the full raid in less than 1:30 if I have a team as stated above. It's not that I don't think others are good, it's just that higher light tends to have more experience and skill.
-
370 isn't that strict. It's the recommended light level. Pretty reasonable when you're picking up randoms. The emblem just proves you've beaten it so you have experience.
-
After spending hours on one part of the raid with multiple different teams you start to understand these requirements. Some people can sit down and raid for 7 hrs most people can't. This early it's super easy to find a raid team a month from now is when you are going to have an issue.
-
Someone PLEASE help me understand the math for the final -blam!-ing puzzle Because half of these people say the end needs to be 0 but the other half say the calculators value of like 700 or something is right.
-
Edited by Angel_Soren: 9/30/2016 12:33:17 AMSo make your own group...In fact make a better group! Yeah! With Black Jack and Strippers! You know what screw all those other LFG groups.

Why will CE and VOG posts appear?
-
Edited by l MGW l: 9/29/2016 2:32:38 PMI'm so sick of these woe is me posts about how no one will accept you. First of all, there are plenty of people on LFG NOT specifying those requirements. I know, I've seen them below and above my posts where I do specify some basic requirements. The real problem is people wanting to get carried. That's whose complaining here. They see the posts seeing no requirements next to those with them and they think "well if I run with this no requirement it will take longer because they probably haven't beaten it yet... so I'll just lie to this other group and see how far I can get." Then they get kicked and come here to cry. Just find people who haven't beaten it before, watch some videos and learn how it's done. Those of us who have beaten it have spent 6-9 hours on previous runs learning the mechanics, timing, and best guns for dps. That's not 6-9 hours we want to respend teaching a total stranger how to do something they could learn on their own. A friend? Sure. But some random stranger on LFG? Really? What have you ever done for me? Why should I spend hours of my time for you to learn what I spent hours learning last week? I understand there are some exceptions. You find a group of fellow newbies who just cancer attitudes and criticize your every move. I get it. But imagine how cancerous an experienced group is going to act to some newbie that isn't even their friend? They won't give you crap, they'll give you the boot.
-
Plenty of lfg groups with lower requirements.... you must not know how to read or something.
-
Hmmm. Not butthurt enough. move along.
-
Ill be trying the raid do the first time this weekend. Ill be around 366 light and have watched all the videos. I have no exp but know mostly what to do.
-
Edited by Oxide: 9/29/2016 3:35:26 PMLitterally if you fall behind on completing the raid due to being busy you can't find a good team because everyone that has completed the raid makes those lfgs or the people who don't join them. Me I'm stuck with people that are disorganized trying to beat the raid for the first time and can't because no team I have can communicate I just want a good raid team and I will never find it I feel People will kick me just because I'm 369 1 light off and even in the end they will kick me for being the lowest yet I'm doing the third most damage and am the only one yelling things out half the time.

After struggling with a group that was half under 367 I understand why people don't want to waste their time. There are squads who are capable. It's hit or miss. First clear last night was a great group with a couple low 360's but they listened and stayed alive. Seems right now the wipes are 99% from: 1-poor communication. I shouldn't have to ask where to take my shock cannon. If your captain is still alive ask for help. CALL OUT your servitors. Time matters here to avoid chaos before the teleports. 2-People unable to resolve a simple position change. 3 holes, 3 pegs. If you're a peg, get in the hole without a peg. 3-Stupid deaths that result from not killing shanks. Deaths happen. Nbd. But if every pair kills all their shanks BEFORE focusing on the captains, these deaths are easily avoided. Some things to remember to tell your new guardians who haven't cleared the raid: -you get to fire the cannon or throw charges. If you are manning a cannon, you need to be sure there is someone without a cannon ready or asked quickly to throw the charge once you've killed your servitor. -stop asking people to "save the cannons" for the last damage rotation. High Light experienced groups sure go for it. Newer players need to get the rhythm of instantly smashing dps on aksis on every slam. Cannons are going to be the #1 damage output, so letting them sit with rounds is a big mistake. HOLD THE TRIGGER. if you're not doing 40000+ damage per cannon shot, ask a fireteam member to explain to you how to fire the cannons. LFG is toxic af, and I wish I hadn't experienced it but when recruitment was down last night during my prime playing hours I had to check it out. Yikes can't believe ppl do that regularly
-
If people take the time to grind above 370 they have the right to ask for people that have worked as hard as they have to have a smooth raid run. Beside the recommended light for the boss fight is 380 and having the proper amount of dps and coordination on the boss is key so obviously you'll want players with experience and a higher light level.
-
In a month or so it will go up to 390 at least due to hard raid release.
