It is a serious matter, when you consider that we are living under the total domination of an idea thought up in the 17th century, by an alchemist (Newton) that thought he could turn lead into gold. Science has failed on a fundamental level. It seeks to prove the things it already assumes to exist, like gravity.

That also is rooted in the argument that matter is energy which is not a new idea to some eastern religions.
