Do you need to buy Rise of Iron DLC for each Profile?
When I login with my profile it shows that I need to purchase the Rise of Iron DLC but my son already purchased and installed it with his login/profile. Whats going on here? Previous DLC purchases (on the xbox 360) redeemed through his profile were also available on my profile (ie Taken King etc...) but not Rise of Iron for some reason.
Do you need to buy Rise of Iron DLC for each Profile/login now?
Any advice?
Here is what we did:
-Purchase Xbox One Destiny Collection including the Rise of Iron disc (since we have been playing on Xbox 360 up to this point.
-installed game and imported characters from each of our profiles/logins.
-Using sons profile/login...he redeems "Destiny The Collection" code included with the disc and now he can play Rise of Iron.
-When I login using my profile/login it states "requirements not met" and wants me to purchase the Rise of Iron DLC.

1 ReplyI was able to solve this problem using the following steps: 1. Sign in to xbox on gamertag that doesn't currently have access to rise of iron activities. 2. From xbox dashboard, navigate to the store and search for "rise of iron" 3. Select the destiny expansion from the search results 4. At this stage, you should see a button "install" (not "buy") 5. Click the install button. Wait for the small download to complete. 6. Launch destiny and confirm you have access. Keep in mind this worked for me, but I own the digital copy as opposed to disc copy. Hope it works for you too!

I'd recommend signing in the account that owns it, and while that account is signed in, also sign in your account. This way, the account that owns it properly is logged in so the system knows it's okay to play. If you're trying to log in through a game-share type thing on a different console, then you're probably out of luck.

3 RepliesYou need to install it for each profile. Go into manage apps and use the key with 3 lines on. (This is for Xbone)

2 RepliesIf you want to play on differnet consoles at the same time then youll need to rebuy it, however if you are on the same console however content sharing should work otherwise

If I hear anything on my thread I'll post it in yours also. Edit: only difference is I have a digital copy of the game and all expansions, no discs
