I know bungie does not develop the matchmaking mechanics in raids and every other high end activity (daily For example) cause they also own or have partners in some of this lfg websites, wich really have good earnings from advertising.
this situation goes against the players, and numbers dont lie: only 20% completed raids in vanilla destiny, 10% in ttk and even tho is still early, only 0,2 had finished wrath of the machines. if they keep going this way, the most hardcore and dedicate players are going to leave the game when some publisher give them what bungie doesnt.
BUNGIE YOU ARE STILL ON TIME. LET MATCHMAKING BEEN AN OPTIONAL MECHANIC IN HIG END ACTIVITIES.
is not that hard. just let players to choose few options like mic required, minimum light level, and let the softwate do the match, like in the strikes. and of course, if you already have your team or you like to go to lfg, you'll get into the activity ride away.

Absolutely not
-
Go play heroics pick up 5 of them and try and do a raid

I would like to see matchmaking for the older raids. Leave WotM open to parties only, and maybe KF too. Let us run Vault and Crota with randoms, though. Those should be doable at this point.
-
Alright, let's see how this would turn out. 1st person would be you of course 2nd Person would actually know what to do 3rd person would be severly underleveled 4th would have no idea what to do. 5th would be a squeaker who wont shut up about Minecraft 6th would be AFK, with rubber bands tied around joysticks the whole raid So, this is a definite NO
-
There is no activity that has a choice. It is on or off. Now if they turn it on and you are a some point in the raid and a grind lags out. Match making kicks in and you get a nice new blue berry to screw you up.
-
Honestly, this isn't a bad idea. Most Fireteam based activities outside of Matchmade activities I've done have been ransoms from LFG. It usually works out pretty well, and them dropping a player in when needed saves time in the long run.
-
Optional, but not like strikes. I don't want spots filled in automatically if I go in with a fireteam and someone drops.
-
Seriously the only modern day game I'm aware of that requires players to do the matchmaking for themselves. I havent had to do anything of the sort since Quake 3 Arena mods in the Gamespy days. Totally ridiculous there's STILL no matchmaking for RAID or Nightfalls. Hey guys you realize when you go to a 3rd party website for matchmaking ITS STILL RANDOMS AND THEY COULD STILL SUCK.
-
Matchmaking in raids is a poor excuse for those people who don't have friends and if they ass matchmaking I'm afking in it just so there are complaints
-
Sure. But if you think this solves anything, you are clearly lost. The Division has matchmaking for its Incursions (high level/end game activity). It's a -blam!-ing nightmare lol.

How about no
