Seriously Bungie, you've had long enough to fix this.

Hey man hopefully I can help. So The issue is that Bungie ahs changed their infrastructure for Destiny. There is a conflict with a certain type of UPNP connection which is very popular amongst commercial routers. I don't expect them to address or publicly comment on this but I've run a few test to determine the cause. Heres what worked for me. Comcast XB3 router/modem combo Disable the wifi in the UI for the modem. (type in 10.0.0.1 in your internet browser). Hardline your computer/laptop to your router and again type in 10.0.0.1 to reach the UI and set the modem/router combo to bridge mode. This essentially removes the router function from your formerly combo modem gateway/router. Pick a 3rd party router with a good UI and the option to toggle nat filtering. My choice was the Netgear AC3200 Nighthawk X6. Plug the new router directly into your gateway. Using the netgear wizard setup your connection. Boom done. Everyone on the network should have open NAT and the correct Upnp/ssdp settings.
