Twilight Gap
So while i was doing the queens ransom heroic, my friend had pointed out to me that the only way we had won the battle of twilight gap was because skolas had pulled out so many troops for us to kill. For the lore masters out there is this true?
And if so where can i find evidence of this?

The Queen nabbed the House of Wolves' attention before the could make it to The City. They try to frame it like they were doing it out of the kindness of their hearts, but the Awoken could care less if the City still stands or not. No, they only wanted to enslave the Wolves into servitude. Anyway, they experienced first hand why the Wolves were known for their rather aggressive nature. Civilian casualties, Pilot Servitors used for suicide bombings, putting major pressure on the Reef and letting them barely breath between battles. Then along came Variks, who couldn't stand the cruel and horrible things the Wolves were doing to the Reef because he didn't realize that the Reef is awful and full of nothing but pricks. Then Skolas was captured. Then the Reef being the smug Dregs they are, gave Skolas away to the Nine as a backhanded message saying "Don't test us". The Nine weren't having that, so the let Skolas loose and he and the Wolves killed a large chunk of the Awoken and started Skolas' Crusade. So all in all, the Queen wanting to rule the Wolves came back to bite her twice, which is hilarious.

Wolves stop to regroup in the reef on the way to earth to join the other houses in the twilight gap, and the queen has a decision, get engaged and stop the wolves or continue hiding in secret.

1 ReplySorry, to answer your question more directly, no. Mara Sov intercepted the House of Wolves when they were on their way to Earth. The stopped the House of Wolves from being a part of Twilight Gap. This is probably a big reason we won. This also lead to the Reef Wars and is how Sov ended up with "her fallen" and how Skolas ended up in prison.

First-nice name. Second-no, because the Wolves were unable to participate in the Twilight Gap. But, if he said Reef Wars, he would be on to something.
